Me when I play survivor: Why am I the only one doing gens and saves? WHY ARE YOU ALL JUST CROUCHING BEHIND THINGS?!
Me when I play killer: STOP DOING ALL MY GENS AND LET ME KILL YOU.
The Legion nerf is actually the Freddy rework…
So apparently I have the “can’t heal anyone” bug in Dead by Daylight! Hurray!
On the plus side, it’s making me force myself to learn to loop better. Two gen juked a sweaty NOED Huntress in a 3 v 1 before doing the last two gens and getting the hell out of Dodge.
I haven’t been able to load into a lobby as survivor properly since Legion came out in Dead by Daylight. I have to verify the game files, restart all the things, attempt to go through Survive with Friends, and sacrifice a few Dwights and Neas to the Entity, and I still don’t load into a lobby far more than half the time. I’ve even contacted BHVR, etc., but their response tends to be basically, “It’s your fault. Did you do all the things you just told me you did? Okay well we don’t know.” I’ve looked online for help, and while others seem to have the same issues (which is only a little bit reassuring), a lot of the ones that post about it also seem to have the issue resolved never to return again (or at least never to return to any of the posts about it again).
It’s just frustrating because I’d like to play the game and get better, and I’m not always in a first person mood to play killer. But I guess the new goal for now will be to work on becoming a great killer. Guess that’s the one good thing about the new matchmaking system that gives my rank 20 ass rank 9′s in the lobby. Can’t get better if you never get challenged.
Survivors who are super salty give me life. Both as killer and as survivor.
Does this mean I don’t get salty? No. But I don’t bother airing it in the post game chat. It isn’t worth it to me. So I give a good game, well played when deserved, a have fun and good luck with your next games, throw out some hearts, and politely leave.
And then get over it.
Because it’s a game.
And my idea of a good game as either survivor or killer is more about getting some points and having a good experience than about 4ks or escapes. If I can help my fellow survivors and not get tunneled immediately and actually get a chance to play the game, I’m happy. If I get to run around and hit people and hit generators and hit pallets and the survivors escape and I get “Entity Displeased” but I had fun, I’m happy.
And if survivors get salty, I laugh. I may vent a little to a friend, but, in the end, I laugh.
Some games will be amazing and others will be crappy. It seems to be the nature of this game, and I’m ultimately okay with that. And if the games are just consistently bad one day, I’ll sign off and play something else.
Regardless, salty survivors give me life. As do salty killers.
Until Next Time,
