I’d love to see them married already with kids (it’s the thing of dreams)…but there’s a beauty in starting things out as realistically as possible with their season 1 mutual attraction, then to a confidante level kind of friendship, and then ultimately into an epiphany of how much their partnership and friendship can extend its reach into romantic territory as they discover they’re soulmates, and have been soulmates to each other, for quite a long time.
