Disney Junior And Disney+ Set A New Imagineering Age Of Fun With Eureka! On June 22th.

If you can dream it, you can do it  

Imagineering a new era of fun she’s a big thinker who’s ahead of her time. Way, way ahead of her time - in fact, she invented the wheel.

The series is set to premiere Wednesday, June 22 at 7:30 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Junior. An initial batch of 5 episodes will also premiere the same day on on-demand platforms and streaming on Disney+ USA.

Additionaly a album featuring the first songs of the first season will be avalible at Walt Disney Records on June 24th.

Set in the fantastical prehistoric world of Rocky Falls,  Eureka! follows the story of Eureka, a young girl inventor who is way ahead of her time. She designs inventions and contraptions in the hopes of making the world a better place and moving her prehistoric community into a more modern era.

The series stars Ruth Righi (Sydney to the Max) as Eureka, Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton) and Lil Rel Howery (Free Guy) as Eureka’s parents, Roxy and Rollo, and Javier Muñoz (Hamilton) as her teacher, Ohm.

Rounding out the voice cast is Kai Zen (Amphibia) as Pepper, Devin Trey Campbell (Broadway’s Kinky Boots) as Barry, Fred Tatasciore (Marvel’s Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur and Hit Monkey) as Murphy, Cree Summer (Voltron:Legendary Defender) as Verna, Kevin Michael Richardson (The Owl House) as Dima, Aydrea Walden (The Mandalorian) as Olive and Groopy, Connor Andrade (We Baby Bears) as Clod, Cade Tropeano (Raising Dion) as Bog, Madigan Kacmar (Chuggington) as Julia, Vivienne Rutherford (Seal Team) as Lark, Judah Howery (Uncle Drew) as twins Spruce and Cypress Stoneland, Dee Bradley Baker (Phineas and Ferb) as Ptero and André Sogliuzzo (American Dad!) as Link.

The cast in recurring guest roles are Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) as the school librarian, Chee; Jack McBrayer (Wander Over Yonder) as a pet kanga bird; Ryan Michelle Bathé (The Endgame) as Barry’s mom, Sierra; and Wendell Pierce (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) as Barry’s father, Cliff.

Eureka! is produced by Academy Award-nominated animation studio Brown Bag Films (Doc McStuffins) in association with Disney Junior Educational Resource Group. Emmy Award winner Norton Virgien (Doc McStuffins) and award-winning children’s book author/illustrator Niamh Sharkey (Henry Hugglemonster) are the series’ creators and executive producers. Emmy nominee Erica Rothschild (Sofia the First) developed the series with Virgien and Sharkey and serves as co-EP and story editor. Writer and director Rusty Cundieff (Tales from the Hood) and Emmy-nominated producer Donna Brown Guillaume (Happily Ever After: Fairytales for Every Child) are consulting producers.

Christiana “Chee” McGuigan, a science educator who has worked at the California Science Center, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, serves as the series’ science education consultant. Biomedical scientist, social entrepreneur and former senior policy advisor for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Dr. Knatokie Ford, advised on the original series development. Engineering experts from Disney’s world-renowned Imagineering team advised on the early development of Eureka’s inventions.

Multitalented singer, songwriter and producer Kari Kimmel (Spirit Riding Free) is the series’ songwriter, and Emmy winner Frederik Wiedmann (All Hail King Julien) is the composer.

Minnie and Daisy work together to save their favorite bath toy when it falls down the drain. 

Season Seventh will include a cycling episode set in France timed to correspond with the Tour de France, a puppy-themed episode at Buckingham Palace, and a birthday celebration for Daisy.

Disney Branded Television Acquires Morphle From Moonbug Entertainment For Streaming And TV Rights

Moonbug Entertainment today announced an agreement with Disney Branded Television to create a new CG original series, Morphle, based on the hit short-form My Magic Pet Morphle.

The 52 x 7′ comedy-adventure series will debut in 2024 exclusively on Disney+ and Disney Junior globally, excluding China. Disney will also launch episodes of My Magic Pet Morphle on its platforms. This strategic partnership is the first creation and distribution agreement of its kind between the two leaders in kid’s entertainment.

Morphle follows Mila and her stepbrother, Jordie, as they leap into a world of adventure with the help of Morphle, Mila’s magical and loyal pet who has the power to change into whatever she needs. The trio will use their skills and smarts to keep magic pets out of mischief, solve problems and find “magic matches” for each of the hilarious and unique newcomers.

“The agreement with Disney Branded Television is a significant milestone for the Morphle brand and recognizes Moonbug Entertainment’s continued growth within the kids’ market,” said Andy Yeatman, Managing Director of Americas and Originals at Moonbug Entertainment. “We are excited to expand our original content initiatives and bring the fun and fantastical Morphle universe to more families around the world.”

Minnie’s Bow Toons Renewed For A Seventh Season With Slated Debut On May 23th.

Disney Junior and Disney Branded Television has given a seventh season renewal to Minnie’s Bow Toons Shorts.

The season debuts May 23 at 8:25am on Disney Junior. A new episode will premiere every day next week and will continue to rollout over the summer.

Disney Junior Takes Us To A Galaxy Far Far Away With Star Wars First Preschool Series: “Star Wars Young Jedi Adventures” Setting The Force On Spring 2023.

A new class of aspiring Jedi younglings are set to enter The High Republic next year, announced on the Star Wars LIVE! Stage at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim today, Young Jedi Adventures is coming to Disney Junior and Disney+ in the spring of 2023.

The series is the first production of Lucasfilm and LucasFilm Animation for preschoolers and their first collaboration with Disney Junior, this new show promises to take your young Jedis in training to get know the Star Wars Universe.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures follows young Younglings as they are swept off into adventures lead by Yoda as they start their journeys on the path to becoming Jedi Knights, learning valuable skills for our galaxy and the galaxy far, far away. The Jedi-in-training will tackle topics of compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship

.The new series will be part of the era known as the High Republic, set centuries before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and currently being explored in the New York Times bestselling series of books and comics for all ages, Star Wars: The High Republic.

15 years later the duo has found ways to keep paving that way with their first solo creations with Dan Povenmire with Disney Television Animation’s Hamster And Gretel set to debut later this year on Disney Channel and Disney+ and Jeff Swampy Marsh with Disney Junior Educational Resource Group’s Hey A.J! set to debut on Disney Junior and Disney+ on 2024.

Disney Branded Television Developing New Winnie The Pooh Musical Animated Short Series For Disney Junior.

As part of Disney Juniors Fun Fest event, which was held on Friday at the Disney California Adventure theme park, a brand new short-form series featuring Winnie the Pooh and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood was announced.

The musical short-form series is currently going by the working title of “Winnie The Pooh”, so it is likely that the series is given a unique name before it launches.

Back on January 1st 2022 we reported that despite Pooh becoming now a public domain character,Disney will still use their own version of the character for future projects with a new project in the works for Disney+, it seems that project was this one

”WINNIE THE POOH” (Working Title)
”Winnie the Pooh” (working title) is a new musical short-form series starring Winnie the Pooh and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood.

Back on 2015 popular Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon pitched a Winnie Pooh Reboot to Disney with a  full animated pilot in hand, sadly in 2016 the pilot was passed, as much as we wish this new series of shorts is a revival of this idea, it seems that this willl be something different, probably done by Disney Television Animation, Disney Junior Educational Resource Group or Disney Europe Animation.

Disney Branded Television Gives Greenlight To 4 New Preschool Animated Series For Disney Junior: “SuperKitties” “Hey A.J” “Kindergarten: The Musical” And “RoboGobo”

Disney Junior announced today that it will be adding four new series that will appear on Disney Junior and Disney+ through 2023 and 2024.

The programming slate was announced at Disney Junior Fun Fest, a one-day event occurring at Disney California Adventure on Friday, the new shows are done by different companies and preschool animation division Disney Junior Educational Resource Group.

SuperKitties

Created By Paula Rosenthal and Executive Produced By Kirk Van Wormer: “SuperKitties” is an adorable and action-packed new series about four fierce and furry superhero kittens — Ginny, Sparks, Buddy and Bitsy — who are on a mission to make Kittydale a more caring and ”pawesome” place. Firebuds Unveils Additional Cast Members, Intro And Release Date On Disney Junior FunFest.

Mickey Mouse Funhouse Sets Tentpole Pirate Summer Special Featuring John Stamos.

John Stamos also stars as the voice of Captain Salty Bones in the upcoming summer tentpole episode of ”Mickey Mouse Funhouse.” In ”Mickey Mouse Funhouse: Pirate Adventure,” legendary pirate Captain Salty Bones invites Mickey, Minnie and friends to join the biggest treasure hunt ever and see if they can become true pirates.

Series star Harvey Guillén, who voices the role of Funny the Funhouse in the series, was at Disney Junior Fun Fest to help announce the new 22-minute special, which also features recurring guest stars Jenifer Lewis as Wheezelene and Richard Kind as Cheezel and is set to premiere August 2022.

Spidey And His Amazing Friends Introduces New Heroes and Villans For Season 2

Earlier today, Entertainment Weekly shared the news that the Disney Junior hit show Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends would be swinging onto TVs in August for a second season and bring a brand new roster of amazing friends for the Spidey gang!

John Stamos will be voicing the role of Iron Man/Tony Stark in season two of Disney Junior’s hit series “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends.” The additional new Marvel heroes and villains that will be featured in season two are Ant-Man (voiced by Sean Giambrone), Wasp (voiced by Maya Tuttle), Reptil (voiced by Hoku Ramirez), Black Cat (voiced by Jaiden Klein), Sandman (voiced by Tom Wilson) and Electro (voiced by Stephanie Lemelin). The new season premieres August 2022 and will include a new “Glow Webs Glow” storyline. Season two will also feature four new original songs and a “Glow Webs Glow” anthem song by series’ songwriter/composer Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy).

Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends follows the adventures of Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales as they team up to defeat foes and save the day. In season two of the series, the trio of young Super Heroes are able to call on Avengers pals Iron Man, Ant-Man, Wasp and Reptil, in addition to Hulk, Ms. Marvel and Black Panther, for help when trouble arises — like when villain Electro tries to drain all of the power in the city and the Spidey Team must band together to use a new glowing web formula to turn the lights back on.

Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Unveils Time For Disney Junior ShowCase on Disney Junior FunFest.

We are one few hours away from Disney Junior Fun Fest and early today  Disney General Entertainment Content PR Website unveiled the schedule of Disney Junior Fun Fest as it’s TV-Y7 FV conterpart the event will have a parade, concerts,events based on Disney Junior shows like drawings and making cupcakes.

The major event will be “Disney Junior  Showcase Presentation” this event will showcase previews of concept art and first look footage of upcoming Disney Junior shows in the upcoming months and 2023 as well announcements of new Disney Junior shows, the event will be at 11:30AM.

The Previewed Shows And First Looks Will Be For:

• Eureka! created by Norton Virgien (Doc McStuffins) and award-winning children’s book author-illustrator Niamh Sharkey (Henry Hugglemonster)
• Firebudscreated by Craig Gerber (Sofia The First, Elena Of Avalor)

• Tiny Trailblazers created by Reese Witherspoon (Illumination’s Sing Franchise)

The first-ever Disney Junior Fun Fest, a one-day event celebrating the entertaining and music-filled stories of the #1 preschool television network’s hit series, will bring the magic straight to fans on FRIDAY, APRIL 29, 2022.

Held at Disney California Adventure park in Anaheim, California, the one-day event will include sneak peeks at upcoming Disney Junior series, special announcements, surprise appearances, a “Doc McStuffins” stage show highlighting 10 years of the beloved series, andan “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party,” a hands-on cupcake decorating course inspired by the new Disney Junior series that is also being offered for guests throughout Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival from March 4 through April 26.

The event will kick off in the morning with a cavalcade of beloved Disney Junior characters welcoming fans and making their way through the park. Throughout the day, there will be main stage attractions with fun games, trivia and music to keep preschoolers and their families singing and dancing together. Guests can also enjoy regular Disney Junior programming at Disney California Adventure park, including the “Disney Junior Dance Party!” and the “Spidey and his Amazing Friends” photo wall at the Hollywood Backlot.
