I’ve rented Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap for Nintendo Switch recently, and I absolutely adore the game’s 2D art style, and overall the game’s not bad. The coolest part is being able to switch from the modern version to the original Sega Master version with a push of a button.

Disney Channel Acquires Pretty Freaky Scary For Potential Disney TVA Series Adaptation.
Our pals at DisInsider have confirmed that Disney Branded Television has acquired the rights of the book Pretty Freaky Scary for a Disney Channel Series adaptation with Disney Television Animation being one of the main contenders as an animated series.
Based on the series of books of the same name by Chris P. Flesh Pretty Freaky Scary will focus on young 14-year old Frankie who dies but is given the opportunity to return to Earth with the help of two otherworldly companions named Pretty and Scary. However, when she returns, she has some surprising new abilities, that ensure she makes the most of her life this time around.
In the original book Frankie is a boy by the name Franklin but in the Disney adaptation he is genderswapped as a girl.
Pretty Freaky Scary is still on early development at Disney Channel so at the moment there’s no showrunner attached, if greenlight the show could arrive on late 2024 or early 2025, it will become Disney TVA’s #107 Series Overall behind the potential greenlight projects of Disney TVA Pilots for Disney Channel by Nic Smal, Luce Heavens, Cheyenne Curtis, Monica Ray and Noah Z Jones.
Annecy Film Festival Sets Disney Branded Television EMEA And Disney Branded Television USA Panel.
Disney Branded Television has set the panel time and date for it’s Disney Channels Worldwider Showcase at Annecy Film Festival, the event is scheduled for June 14th at 11:00AM.
The panel will showcase new licensed acquisitions as well new series from Disney Europe Animation, Disney Television Animation and Disney Junior Educational Resource Group.
Last year we got the confirmation of Kiff, probably this year could see the greenlight of Nic Smal and Lucy Heaven’s second Disney TVA show besides Kiff who was unveiled to be on development since late 2020 during the pending greenlighting of Kiff.
The Hardest Thing and Getter Robo Armageddon connection
There is something that Matt Braly did watched Getter Robo series. First, the Core’s “aliens” look exactly like the Invader’s behaviour and their places is the Moon. Secondly, the final battle would be somehow similar the Getter Teams battling these aggressive aliens.

The cameos I got to do in “Sock Burglar.” I can’t believe I got to do Snow White and now the Evil Queen!? So insane. I was extremely happy to do these.
The new Mickey Short…..OOPS! I mean Minnie short is out! “Sock Burglar” I went to town on this short and drew lots of Minnie, Goofy, yarn balls and cameos. :D I’m very proud of the designs for this one and it’s great to see Minnie be just as awesome as Mickey in this one. Check it out!
IDW has announced a new comic book series adapting Paul Rudish’s current Mickey Mouse animated series titled Mickey Mouse Shorts: Season One. Scheduled to debut in July, this four-issue series is adapted directly from the Disney Channel series by Scott Tipton. IDW asked me to do a cover for the series as well as others who work on the show. They gave me a couple ep choices and I couldn’t pass up doing “Tokyo Go!”Andy Suriano and I make a cameo in this short. It was a must. Super fun to do! Looking forward to the series this summer. It was Donald Duck’s 85th Birthday over the weekend and a new short premiered for it! “Two can’t play” is now up for viewing! I got to draw a lot of duck mullets.
Designs from “Over the Moon.” Got a lot of moon coverage. Such a fun character and the color/bg peeps really made him look great in the final. We don’t get too many guest voices but I’m glad Tom Kenny finally made it in one of the shorts.
