2016 is an unforgettable year that zootopia released, it’s such a pleasure knowing&seeing amazing people around, sharing art, love, wonderful stuffs and good times for this movie! also huge thank-you for all you guys who give likes, comments, kind & helpful words on my post in the past year✨(i hope i could’ve replied more often)

Had been waiting for this for months and HERE IT COMES this afternoon !!!! …ah, so this is the real cover of it, quite different from how it looks like on its Amazon page. ;D This comics collection book includes the graphic novel of the film, some mini comic chapters, bonus comics and more by talented comic artists @antonellodalena , Joe Caramagna(story writer), @gurihiru , and others! surely an enjoyable book for zoo-fans !!! \ =>W<= / ….And it also reminds me “the myth(?)” of this is not official, just a fan made comic (since director Rich Moore thought so), which i made a long text to talk about . Now, folks from English-speaking countries, you finally can find this book in bookstore and may check if the comic is in it. ;) For me it’s a simple sentence to say, MYTH BUSTED!

these are other two Zootopia graphic novel books i got, of French and Japanese version. it’s quite interesting to find that same book, same content (which means, same at the graphic novel part by Antonello Dalena, but French ver has no bonus, Japanese ver has two additional mini comic chapters by Gurihiru), but different size in different country. ;D
i hope it’d be a good ice-breaking after such a long silence (艸) feels so “uh” when doesn’t have zoototia-related thing to post since the original comic book case was done and once again busy on beginning another |||orz

This was my very last shot on Zootopia and for a seemingly simple shot, it was a surprisingly difficult one to find. The directors and I worked a number of subtle variations (not all of them represented here) to get the timing and emotion just right. This animated film, which Lasseter describes as “classically Disney,” was inspired by the idea of a movie anchored by talking animals who act like humans a la “The Wind in the Willows.” In the city of Zootopia, humans don’t exist, and animals are divided into classes, where they face prejudice based on preconceived notions about their species. The plot focuses on bunny cop Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin)—sidelined into a boring career of writing parking tickets because she’s the first rabbit in the police force—who teams with a fox named Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) to crack a missing mammal case.
One of the gags in the film, where Judy is stalled by a exchange with a sloth who works at the DMV, earned big laughs from the Cannes crowd (and landed with a bite that felt more Pixar than Disney). But the story is still a question mark: it could be great, or it could be something out of Disney Afternoon’s “Duck Tales” or “Darkwing Duck.”
Walt Disney Animation Studios welcomes Ginnifer GoodwinandJason Bateman to “Zootopia,” our March 2016 animated feature set in a modern mammal metropolis. Goodwin will lend her voice to an optimistic bunny named Judy Hopps who’s new to Zootopia’s police department. Jason Bateman voices the scamming fox, Nick Wilde, who Judy reluctantly teams up with to crack her first case.
