Social distancing is in effect still. All Volusia County parks and parking lots close to the beach are all closed off, you can’t even drive on the beaches. Luckily, my buddy knew a spot where we could park and get on the beach with no issues. I was the 1st to arrive. The waves that day were mediocre at most though… the waves were collapsing (Closing Out) because the waves were hitting a shallow sandbar. What a beautiful Morning! Imagine, having the beach all to yourself. I went out with my wetsuit ½ way on to check out a new spot for waves before I grabbed up my surfboard from my car and was pleasantly surprised to see I had the beach all to myself. The waves crashing not another person in sight. Just you and nature. I decided to document the complete quiet abandonment I witnessed. I hope you enjoy the video.
