No reason to stay
Is a good reason to go
It’s here. The point of nostalgia, loss, and the point of no return has receded yet again. I can no longer look at photos of the three months I spent in the US (prior to immigration) to escape the loss of Max without additional sadness - almost every photo has Creed in it, his eyes open with love and full of life.
Each one tells a story of how much he loved life and was just happy to be a part of it. The memories made with this dog will last each of us a lifetime. He touched so many lives in such a short time and left behind so much for us to remember him by. I’m not sure another dog could fill those pawprints even if they tried.
I never thought I’d be thanking Creed for the life I have now. From my reignited passion and love of dogs. To the friends I have now, to the family I have found and been accepted by, and even, where I live right now. I owe it all to you, buddy.
And through all of this? I only want to thank him for letting me be one of those people he loved as hard as he loved life. Creed was and always will be family. And a Creed-shaped void will remain, only to be filled with memories and fondness of one of the greatest dogs of all time.
He really loved Creed, and Creed genuinely liked him until playing started to hurt and bother him, at least with an obnoxious puppy
