I mean, yes, I’m French and I know my English is far from perfect, but…? That’s kinda mean?

I don’t mind constructive criticism, quite the opposite actually, but I didn’t ask for this. 

Meh. 

there’s something to be said about how my ADHD brain LOVES the kinds of games where you get A Home Base™ at the start and you have to go exploring and gather resources so you can make your base better so you can explore even more.

I’m talkin games like stardew valley. slime rancher. subnautica. (hmmm all S names. what a coincidence!)

those games, to me, give the perfect amount of structure and freedom. I am given Goals and I am shown ways to meet those goals, but I’m also encouraged (but not necessarily forced!) to use my noggin and be creative and make my OWN goals and my OWN methods.

I love games where there’s not really a Wrong Way to do things, but there are a lot of rightways!! and best of all is the point when those early game tasks can be automated. that’s especially useful once the dopamine of “heehee task complete!!!” wears off and it starts feeling like a chore.

so anyway if you know of any more games along those lines, I’d love to hear your recommendations!!
