Looks like @lady-elena-adeline (now @elena-chase) decided to fuck around and today, they are finding out. Because I’m tired of this shit. This poster has been going around to different blogs from fandoms not in their own and then stealing their stories and passing it off as her own.
When confronted, they blamed a friend. The balls. (Even if it was your friend who stole these works, why are you posting them as your own? At best, they’re your friend’s stories. But clearly, we know that these works are stolen.)
How do I know? Why elementary, my dear Watson. Screenshots don’t lie and when you compare them side by side with the original stories they were lifted from, you can clearly see that are almost word for word copies with only a few minor changes to fit the new fandom.
If you want to write stories for your fandom, write them. Don’t go passing off other people’s hard work as your own. You are part of the problem of why writers don’t want to post anymore.
And now they’re trying to delete stuff but please make sure to check out if this belong to you.
They are now trying to cover up by deleting things but just so you’re aware @elena-chase stop posting other people’s stories as your own, even if a “friend” sent them because newsflash: it’s still not your own work.

I don’t understand people who steal stories from writers, what pleasure can you gain from seeing praise for something you didn’t create? How do you sleep at night?
And I really don’t understand people who take stories and add “credit”. What gives you the right to take a story from another blog, and add it to your own and cite that you’ve credited it?? Who do you think you are? How dare you?
Literally all any of us want on here is a fucking reblog and maybe a nice comment if you can spare the extra minute it takes to type it. Instead writers get hate, get pressure, or get told to suck it up and “write for themselves”.
I promised myself that I was going to have a good end to my week but seeing someone take my story without permission for at least the fourth time has really tanked my mood. I’m supposed to be posting a series I’ve been working on for five months on Monday, and I’m really wondering if it’s even worth it anymore.
Lovelies, please read this. People continue to have work stolen and it’s discouraging and disheartening. If someone made a quilt in their spare time, would you snatch it from their hands and pass it off as your own? You wouldn’t, would you? Don’t do it with words.
This is the first time (that I’m aware of) that someone has stolen my work.
I don’t know if this person is well known for this shit. They liked my stuff on ao3 then commented this and before I could even reply they went ahead and stole one of my works anyway, they have not credited me (regardless the answer would have been and will always be no)
This person has a whole post of stolen works from across many fandoms.
They also made a comment on the authors note of my story they stole saying something about their shitass Wattpad account, if someone didn’t see the subtle “not mine” at the beginning the “ALSO” bit makes it sound like this story is theirs
I’m tagging mutuals and other people at the end of this post who I think will benefit from checking their account to see if their stories are posted there. If you’re a popular writer, they most likely will be.
