Take Me Away (TMA): Gahyeon’s Shattered Ending - Sea of Misery
A/N: Hello my lovely guys, girls, and non-binary pearls! I wish I was back with another fluffy chapter, but we’ve got to work through the rough parts in order to get back to the fluff. I hope you enjoy this anyways, even if you don’t get that gooey, happy feeling in your stomach after you read it.

You pull the rose quartz anklet from the box, and you waste no time slipping it onto your foot.
Gahyeon… her smile and personality doesn’t fail to make me smile when I think of her. She’s my absolute bliss, and a life without her is a life without love.
You slip into the covers as complete silence overtakes your mind, and you eventually fall asleep.

You wake up in the small home that you and Gahyeon lived in, but a strong, unmistakable scent hits your nose instead of the salty ocean breeze that you were expecting.
Smoke… Is there a fire somewhere?!?!
You open your hand to see the shattered stone before softly cursing.
As smoke fills the room, you run out of your room to the safety of the outdoors.
“Y/N!” Gahyeon yells before giving you a hug. “We’ve got to get out of here.”
Gahyeon! She’s alive… but there’s got to be a bad twist somewhere in here.
“What do you mean?” You tilt your head at her.
“Someone tried to kill both of us. I think one or more of the villagers might know my secret.” Gahyeon’s eyes grow sad as she looks at the ground.
“We’ve got to go, then. I have to keep you safe.” You usher her out of the village as the two of you make a daring escape into the night.

It’s been so long since I had a proper meal. Gahyeon doesn’t look to be holding up well either…
After that night, the two of you ran to a small cave that would shelter the both of you until you figured out a new plan.
Your eyes drift to Gahyeon as she peacefully sleeps. Her soft features shine in the sunlight as you admire her.
This might suck, but I’m doing this for her and her alone.
You take your makeshift fishing rod with you as you go to catch something to eat.

“Gahyeon! Look what I caught!” You excitedly race back to the cave while holding your prized catch.
This fish is big, so we’ll be able to eat a nice meal.
Gahyeon smiles happily as she takes the fish from your hands.
“God, I’m starving.”
You set the fishing rod aside before nodding in agreement.
“I told you we could make it by ourselves.” You softly say as Gahyeon stares at the small fire in front of her.
“Will we ever be able to return to the village?” Gahyeon hopefully asks. “I know that’s a stupid question, but I miss sleeping in a home instead of a cave.”
“I understand where you’re coming from, but we can do this ourselves.” You confidently say as Gahyeon’s smile grows wider.
Only if I believed what I was saying to her….
“Oh, Y/N, I’m glad that I’m stuck with you.” Gahyeon takes your hand in hers as she prepares to cook the fish.

You wake up in the small bedroom inside of the cottage that you lived in with Gahyeon.
How will I know if she’s still here?
You feel something in your hand, so you pull the item into your sight.
The rose quartz stone isn’t shattered! That means that everything will be okay, right?
You make haste as you quickly prepare yourself for a day’s activities. You exit the bedroom in no time, only to see Gahyeon making breakfast in the kitchen.
“Gahyeon!” You cry out before giving her a hug.
She jumps slightly before relaxing in your embrace.
“Don’t scare me like that, Y/N! I don’t want to mess up breakfast for the two of us.” Gahyeon scolds before continuing to cook.
“Are you okay?” You mutter in disbelief.
“I’d like to ask the same thing to you, Y/N. You’ve been acting stranger than usual…”
Offended, you pull away from Gahyeon.
“I am not strange!”
Gahyeon laughs before shaking her head.
“Only fools like you are strange, Y/N. Don’t worry, it’s what makes you oddlycharming.”
“I think that would make us both fools. You’re kind of weird too.” You confidently say.
She glares at you before smiling. “Whatever you say, Y/N.”
“You love me, no matter how weird I am.”
“I wouldn’t be so sure about that…” Gahyeon teases, and you sigh.
“Well, if you’re not sure…” You trail off to give Gahyeon a kiss on the cheek before saying, “that should help you make up your mind.”
Gahyeon turns red before the two of you burst out laughing. She pecks your lips before adding the final ingredient into the mixture. You decide to hug her from behind as you stare at the calm motion of the ocean out of the singular window in your shared home.
There’s no place like home, especially when “home” is right by your side.

JiU/Minji
•She’d be so excited and happy for not only you but also the people around you who are enjoying pride and the festivities as well. Will be holding your hand the entire time, smiling and rubbing your back if you’re nervous.
• So much laughter and corny jokes from her than usual. While painting your face in glitter along with whatever color of flag you identify with/represent she showers you in compliments. With a dash of punny jokes
• “Y/N? Why is your hair so gorgeous? Such a mane right?”
“Thank you Ji. But why mane?”
“Cause looking at you and it makes me so prideful.”
• Minji would get so many stares and compliments from other gays, so much so that you’d get a bit jealous. It wasn’t just because of her beauty but of how friendly and open she was with them. Of course Minji told them she was happily taken, all the while taking you by the hand or waist, introducing you to them as your girlfriend.
• She’s mesmerized by the floats and would most definitely drag you to a drag show (lol).
• Would kiki with all the drag queens/kings as if they were friends for years and tip the extremely well.
• Kisses you whenever you both have moments to yourselves, thanking you for bringing her along and for having such love in her but also in your own self to celebrate this.
SuA/Bora
• She is the one who suggested ya’ll go to pride together, would not stop talking about it until the day of.
• Dresses up with you, always wanting to match. The only differences would be the glitter Bora threw across her chest and around her cheeks. She also gave you a bit of glitter too in trade for some affection.
• Bora dances everywhere and with anyone at pride, you always have to be a hype-woman or mediator for each and every dance battle your girlfriend participates in.
• She also hypes up everyone who’s on a float, especially the drag queens/kings. Minji kiki-ed with them too but oh boy Bora is on a completely different level.
• Waves yours and her own flag respectively and if you’re shy about it, she just screams and hypes you up even more.
• Since it is pride, her affection and touching goes up a bunch as well. Kisses you every chance she gets for photos and just because she loves you.
“I’m so glad I’m able to celebrate this with you baby. Now how many kisses can I give you till my lipstick stays on your face!”
Siyeon
• Siyeon tagged along with you but would be adorably confused.
• Of course she’d be happy to be there but you’re going to have to explain some things to her. Once she learns however, she’s all smiles, winks and finger guns–mostly at you.
•Another hottie folks can’t stop and flirt with but of course Siyeon is all about you and only you.
• Will get so lost if you both go your separate ways, trying to find a band to watch or just something fun to do. Stumbles upon you in a line to get food, wide eyed, asking where you got that funnel cake from.
• Loves just being in your presence having fun: arm around your shoulders while calling you gorgeous. She’s the cool girlfriend who’s always in your corner, urging you to try new things especially if it shows how much you love being/ expressing yourself
•Really wants to kiss you in front of the largest gay flag possible.
“Just one kiss, please? Don’t be scared, baby! We’re in a safe place.”
Cheers so loudly when she gets you to do it more than once.
Handong
• Handong would be a bit shy in asking you to pride because I feel like she’s a person who’d like to keep her love private and to herself and her girlfriend.
• Loves seeing you happy and gush over pride so she asked if you wanted to go to the parade a few towns over. She came to you a bit sheepish, worrying you to death.
“Is everything OK, Dongie?”
“Yeah, I was just wondering if you wanted to go somewhere that would be special for the both of us?”
“And where would that be?”
• Takes you on a road-trip doesn’t tell you where until you witness the floats, rainbows, hand-holding and overall people having a grand time.
• Laughs so hard at your reaction, most likely will record it for herself and memories sake.
•Let’s you take the lead on activities, but will always ask if you’re having a good time. She smiles back and answers cheekily that she’s with the woman she loves in a safe space, of course she’s happy.
•Gives you kisses when you aren’t looking and especially when it looks like you’re paying attention to a float or at a drag show.
“Hey, Y/N? Who’s that queen again?”
“Hmm? Oh that’s Mx. Sux A Lot. Why–”
Handong kisses your jaw swiftly prior to pulling away with an innocent smile.
“No reason.”
Yoohyeon
• Yoohyeon is literally volunteering at ya’lls local pride event. Asked you if you were going to come eagerly, saying she helped organize it and all. She thought she was so smooth but half the time she came across as corny.
“So babe, I know we’ve been girlfriends for a few years but would you let me take you to pride? I got plenty of pride and love for you babygirl.”
“…”
“Please say yes.”
• Of course Yoohyeon shows you off to all the other volunteers and her friends alike, introducing you as your girlfriend and taking you to all the events with so much enthusiasm.
• Takes you to each and every event to include some history behind it while holding your hand and pulling you close
• Sua may be the main one dancing, but Yoohyeon also doesn’t mind dancing either, especially with you. May not may not twerk on you when and/if she gets a few drinks in her
•You have to take her home regardless and either way she clings to you for dear life, telling you how much she loves you.
“You’re too good to me! I love you so much! You’re the best girlfriend ever!” she cried into your neck.
Dami/Yubin
• Yubin always wanted to go to pride with you but like Handong was a bit nervous to ask, most likely due to how much it meant to you and she didn’t want to just make it seem like a plain date.
• Makes it special by helping you pick your outfit and giggling over what would look more or less gay. (Ya’ll went with more gay oki)
• More giggling would ensue when you finally get to the festival and embraced by the amount of love and acceptance. Yubin will not stop smiling and will be totally 1000 percent goofy. More goofy than usual.
• Like with Minji, other gays will attempt to flirt with her and get her number and of course Yubin declines politely while bringing you into the convo or just stepping away entirely.
• She just wants to be with you either hand in hand or just beside you in any way.
•Gets extremely flustered when meeting yall’s favorite drag queens, freezing up by just being around them. Nudges you when you suggest the both of you try out drag yourselves.
“Would we even look as good as them?”
“Of course we would Yubie! Now what would our drag names be?”
Gahyeon
• Gahyeon got more interested about pride after hearing it from Yoohyeon and really wanted to impress you by bringing you.
• Would gear you up on the trip there by jamming to a sapphic playlist she cultivated herself, looking proud while driving and holding your hand.
“Oh my God Gahyeon you put Janet Jackson on here too?”
“Yeah babe. She’s a queer icon in her own right, I did more research and I know how much you love her.”
• At the festival Gahyeon is all about the floats and the community aspect of pride. She’s all about the colors and just prancing around with you by her side wrapped in your flags, flanked by other people.
• Gahyeon is all smiles, very child-like just wanting to be with you and rush around like pride was your own personal playground (im sorry lol)
•Always has heart eyes when looking at you explain some historical context of a certain event or you just dancing and having fun.
• Like Sua, she can also get loud when cheering in general.
•Will side eye and cuss out homophobes who try to encroach on the festivities. All the ladies will but Gahyeon will personally go over to have some choice words. Or actions.
