#ducktales finale

One year since Ducktales finale. Wow. Feels like it was just a while ago.

Thoughts on the finale to come later…this post is spoiler-safe…but, dang, 11pm-12am was the longest hour ever. Xfinity was like, “Yes, you get it at midnight, but in your time zone. No peeksies!”

Initial reaction: There were a few things I would have done differently and, yeah, parts that weren’t my favorite, but overall I thought it was a solid conclusion with a ton of great moments. And my main fic-verse has become exactly as AU as I thought it would be, but not in the ways I predicted.

Me, trying to get one more chapter of All for You done before the finale, accepting that I probably have one more left after that and won’t get that done before tomorrow…

(Rest assured, though, however AU this becomes after tomorrow, I’m definitely going to finish…and I’m hoping to have that chapter finished tonight, since that’s all my brain wants to do until the finale drops on DisneyNow anyway…)

If I don’t watch the DuckTales finale tomorrow, it doesn’t exist, right? And then the show never ends…right?

(At least we have the podcast to look forward to!)

I like the implication that most of the prisoners in these boxes were probably people Launchpad had dated, given that info from the crew about how Launchpad’s ex-girlfriends and boyfriends ended up becoming better people after being together with him.

And considering how the show established that Launchpad goes on his own offscreen adventures to help his exes, Bradford probably thought they needed to go as well.

The Last Adventure of DuckTales today. The last 4 years has been quite a ride, I never thought I could animate scenes till the last episode, Im so glad to be a part of it and the fandom. Thanks for all the memories! Im gonna miss it all!!!
