Because I’m going to be having a few really bad days at work, I thought I’d spoil you guys and give you a small sneak peak of what’s to come! This is your surprise and I hope you like it so far!
I am absolutely shattered from the last 2-3 weeks of work and all I had the energy to do today was colour work and this lil doodle bc I still love them
there was a story I heard when I was small about witches making nets out of rushes to catch frogs, lizards, and fish- but I haven’t heard it again since or found it written anywhere, so I can only suppose that I was told it by a witch.
Last night I re-read with my friends on Discord the story Paperinik e il Festival di Sanromolo by Bruno Sarda and Giorgio Cavazzano, so - since I’ve never drawn the inhabitants of Duckburg - I’ve decided to do this little illustration before going to bed. For you not-Italian speakers, the whole story is set during the Sanremo (here called Sanromolo) musical competion: Donald, Gladstone and Fethrey’s outfits and song are a reference to the trio of singers who won the Festival back in 1987. You can listen to their performance here. PS: in the Disney parody, Scrooge wrote the song’s lyrics in order to not hire a songwriter and therefore saving his money. How iconic.

Promo poster for a Duck cousins + Daisy episode! I wanted there to be more focus on the Duck cousins after they reunited to see how they were like on an adventure and for Daisy to interact with the family outside of Donald so this exists. It’s nothing concrete but I think for the episode Gladstone and Donald would probably become trapped in the coin and have to face a trial of sorts based on their luck while the others have to endure challenges from the guardians or battle monsters at wherever they’re at to get them out.
Here is another work with @lettheladylead!!! (subscribe, if didn’t) So, it’s a kinda fresh story, it came at 11 august of this year… Yeah a little bit out of time cause outside is definitely not sunny time, at least for my area.
