A 288 page novel-like narrative, Evasion is one person’s travelogue of thievery and trespassing across the country, evading not only arrest, but also the 40-hour workweek and hopeless boredom of modern life. The journey documents a literal and metaphorical reclamation of an individual’s life and the spaces surrounding them—scamming, squatting, dumpstering, train hopping and shoplifting a life worth living and a world worth the fighting for.

Dumpster diving is life!!
I made this vegan peach and pear cobbler out of fruit from the dumpster!❤
Living in poverty sucks but unlocked dumpster at grocery stores make life a bit sweeter.
Dumpster Diving !!!
Went dumpster diving with friends! Many people don’t realize how much usable products stores throw out to keep up with ridiculous standards, this was all from one store and there was way more good produce we didn’t take. All this food would have gone to the landfill to rot, but now it gets to be used!! Please complain to places like Wal-Mart where they throw out tons of food a day and on top of that don’t even donate food they can’t sell for superficial reasons, ask them how much they throw out, complain to the head office about their food waste!
If you’re curious we got:
leafy greens, carrots, tomatos, onions, potatoes, oranges, apples, pears, lemons, limes, peppers, cilantro, avocados, squash, melons, mushrooms and a coconut ❤
my piece for glittermilkgallery show BUFFET! This saturday in grand rapids, MI! My theme was dumpster diving, because capatalism is fucking insane and you can totally get some perfectly good food out of big metal bins for free.
