I redesigned my character’s outfit with more attention to shape and backstory!
She wasn’t an “adventurer” before receiving her holy calling, so she set out with piecemeal armor she’d accumulated from a traveler who stopped to rest in her cabin years earlier. Her green surcoat is a hand-stitched gift from her mother that bears the crest of their family’s patron Kelemvor, the god of mortuary workers and graveside watchers. Her color palette is heavily influenced by her background as a beekeeper and herbalist.
Turns out my partner’s DnD character is the Elven chosen one who was fated to lead a city-wide revolt against a horrible, corrupt leader?? Anyway my character cast Light on her sacred elk skull so she would shine as a literal light in the darkness ✨♥️✨
First art of the year is my beloved DnD character, Fool. They’re an albino rogue who hates nobles, loves fencing, and physically cannot shut the fuck up ♥️
Guys I am so tired and I’ve got art block. But then I saw a strawberry squid and knew it had to become a D&D character. Seriously google strawberry squid. Like most deep sea creatures they are super cool.
Because that nice anon last night asked about my D&D character Ivan, here’s a huge stockpile of super old D&D art from my Twitter! This is all stuff I did from the first major arc, which wrapped up last spring.
By the time this arc was done Ivan had been mind-controlled, had his consciousness sent to a void ruled by a death-god who recognized him and taunted him mercilessly, and then met one of the scientists involved in his creation (?). D&D is a fun game about experiencing existential terror with your friends.
