LITTLE LITTLE POTATO.
Look at #Potato when she was a baby! I was going through some photos and came across this one. I’d never had a #DwarfRat before and wasn’t sure what to expect. All I knew about Potato was she was super small and was super speedy! She would zoom across the room lightning fast like Sonic the Hedgehog! 
However, that changed pretty quickly….when she grew into her Potato-ness …. and eventually became a true couch potato! 
For those who don’t know, dwarf #rats are just like regular rats, just smaller, with little tails, little hands and little bodies! I mean look at Potato’s perfect teeny faceI I want to gobble her up! Oh Potato! I miss you so much! ✨✨✨Happy #RATurday my #rat family!

POTATO BANANA CHIP.
#Potato puts on weight easily, so I have to limit her treats. But Auntie Sarah from @martymousehouse gave her a yummy delicious banana chip and Potato was forever changed! She was like, “What is this crispy banana thingy? It’s so much better than broccoli!!!!!!” Oh my little tater tot, you are wayyyyyy more delicious than a banana chip! I just want to gobble you up! Happy tater tot Thursday everyone!

POTATO HAMMOCK!
I’ve purchased more #rattie hammocks than I can count … yet Potato’s favorite place to take her naps is in my shirt! I think she likes it in there because it’s close to my heart, it’s warm and she gets first dibs on snacks when I eat! Whenever she smells my food, she’ll pop her teeny head out, grab the yummy morsel and hide back in my shirt. It’s so adorable!
#Potato NEVER wins when it comes to rattie food wars. Often, when she sees her sisters approaching, Potato bears down and holds her food tightly in her teeth. But unfortunately she isn’t very strong, so within seconds her sisters rip the food out of Potato’s mouth, leaving her squeaking and crying without her treat! It’s the saddest thing to witness! I really have a soft spot for this girl! 
So I’m happy to give Potato the VIP treatment and let her stay in my shirt for first dibs! It’s like having my own little baby kangaroo … she’s my PotatoRoo! Love you so much Pots!

PEEK-A-BOO.
#Potato does this adorable thing where if I say, “Where’s Potato???” she’ll stick out her head, then hide, then stick her head out, over and over again! Almost as if she is playing peek-a-boo! It’s the cutest thing! She such a fun #rattie - always entertaining and simply the sweetest! I cannot get enough of her! When I’m having a rough day, I just have to look at her little face and all is better in the world. It’s a shame not everyone knows the love of a #rat … rat haters are missing out! How anyone could get kisses from Potato and be repulsed boggles my mind. Potato rat kisses are the best! Love you forever Pots!

OSTRICH.
When #Potato hides, she thinks if her head is covered, you can’t see her!!! Just like an ostrich. Silly girl! But, how cute is her teeeeeny little tail!!! I swear every bit of her is yummy! Potato is considered a mini #rat and one of the characteristics is they have much smaller and shorter tails than the average rat! There has been some debate as to whether she’s a #DwarfRat and some say mini-rats don’t exist. The controversy comes from the fact that although she has the dwarf characteristics of small, short hands/feet, small face, round eyes, super soft fur and short tail … she is the same size lengthwise as her standard sisters. Well….maybe not exactly the same size … as she might be a litttttle wider but overall, she isn’t small. So confusing. What do you guys think? Dwarf? Mini? Or maybe instead of labelling her one way or another….we just call her “Size ADORABLE”? ✨

SMALL POTATO.
I couldn’t resist. I had to put together a little #Potato video after hearing this potato song!!! Her perfect little doe-eyed expressions and tiny smile makes my heart melt! Potato suffers from a lot of anxiety and will often run over to me for comfort and protection. You can see from the video, she feels the safest under a blanket or my hand. It breaks my heart she gets so anxious. You don’t have to be scared Potato… I will always protect you my little tater tot! ! Love you forever. ✨

RAT THERAPY.
I always thought #Potato would make a great therapy pet! She’s sweet, gentle, cuddly and wonderful with children. She suffers from anxiety and afraid of all things big… so it makes sense she feels safer with kids. And she loooooves handsome boys! Look at her smile! Such a FLIRT! I know a lot of people are afraid of #rats , but how do you look at this sweet Potato and not fall in love with her? She’s such a kind, tender and adorable soul! Oh Potato! It takes every bit of me not to gobble you up! Nom nom nom! ‍♀️

For your viewing pleasure, here is my #rattie #Potato in all her glory! Look at her yummy potato body! She is the cutest little tater tot ever! It takes every bit of me not to gobble her up! 
I swear the name Potato suits her so well right??? And please no body shaming. Potato has always had a weight issue and per her vet, I put her on a diet to slim her down. But the scale just doesn’t move! So, I think Potato is just a full figured #rat and beautiful just as she is! I love you Pots!!!!! Kiss that belly! She’s perfect.
