Just finished the hobbit trilogy and I’m a little obsessed…

Bottom!Thranduil lives in my head rent free. (He’s a bossy bottom)
Four days of super intense work, 40 pattern pieces x 3, 25 yards of piping, 30 meters of fabric and Thranduil is DONE. Hook and eye closures currently going in and she is good to wear for @c4_winnipegtomorrow!
If you see me please feel free to say hi and chat! I’ve been told often by people that they find me scary and are afraid to talk to me ;-; I’m just quiet and have a really bad RBF, I’m not scary I promise!

I wasn’t going to get Thranduil done for comic con because my cording to do all the piping hadn’t arrived…then it showed up Friday and I made the insane choice to make Thranduils cost in like four days…so far so good! Should be done tonight!
Love the coat fabric *__* it’s a pain to work with but has a metallic gold/black/silver shimmer that gives lovely movement to it when I walk

The only good thing about such cold weather is it feels apt to be working on (the book version of) Thranduil in his wintry finery and matching Arctic glare of unimpressed condescension. Silver leaf, huzzah.
