1. “You? How could you? How could you work with-with them?”

“You’re one to talk! Look at your allies!”

2. “Was everything between us a lie?”

“What? No, I’m just as surprised as you are, believe me.” 

3. “I loved you. Don’t you get that? I-”

“Loved? Past tense? Is that really how it is for you people? You’re not even going to try to understand my loyalties?” 

4. “I almost killed you.” 

“Because that’s who we are, like this. But we don’t have to be like this. Not right now.” 

5. “Do you remember that day? The day we both almost died?” 

“We almost destroyed each other. Now, we… What? What are we going to do?”

6. “Why aren’t you killing me?”

“I thought I’d never seen you without your mask. But now that it’s off, there’s something you need to know.” 

7. “Forgive me. Please, forgive me.”

“You’re one of them. How am I supposed to forgive that?”

8. “All those things you did…”

“Oh, don’t look so judgy! You did your fair share of things, too, as I recall.” 

9. “Maybe when this is over, we can find each other again.”

“As if this will ever be over.”

10. “Well, if I can’t kill you, and you can’t kill me, what do we do?”

“Run away together. I mean it, love. This conflict is so much bigger than either of us, and it will continue with or without us. Let’s just go.”
