honestly just in general if people are telling you that something is triggering maybe your first response shouldnt be to be a dick to them and downplay their feelings about it just because you think theyre overreacting or you dont see the issue. thats kind of just like. basic decency. especially when it comes to unreality, many people are triggered by heavily edited photos of faces and im sure theres more upsetting content in that channel that i didnt see but others with actual access to ranmail did. as someone with paranoia that can often get upset by surreal “memes” its upsetting to see people act as if those that are upset are all just overreacting or simply getting what they asked for
i dont like adding onto posts very often but as a certified schizophrenic stuff like that can genuinely trigger psychotic episodes, delusions, and hallucinations if not otherwise trigger tagged . not to mention how anxiety inducing images that are .
unreality is a incredibly serious issue and on multiple occasions ive nearly ended up hospitalized due to images and posts like that , it isn’t just because im in a constant delusional state , but it can make my experience significantly more terrifying than it already is .
psychotic ppl are not jokes , playthings , or toys . we are people too , we experience a significantly more terrifying reality than u do , so make it easier for us by NOT having that shit as ur sense of humor .
