Today’s Princess of the Day is: Poppy O’Hair, from Ever After High.
The stylish and innovative daughter of Rapunzel, Poppy marches to the beat of her own drum and is happy not to be tied down by a predetermined destiny. In actuality, she is the first-born daughter of Rapunzel, being born a few minutes ahead of her twin sister, Holly; however, their birth certificates were switched at birth, leading everyone to believe that Poppy is the younger twin.
Today’s Princess of the Day is: Meeshell Mermaid, from Ever After High.
Destined to follow in her mother’s footsteps as the next Little Mermaid, Meeshell is a shy and reserved girl with a hidden love for singing. She tends to lack confidence in her human form, and is more comfortable as a mermaid.
Every time I see someone bring up Shadow High as of late I have to remind myself that they’re talking about the Rainbow High ones and not the Shadow High from The Legend of Shadow High
I thought for some reason or another the book was brought up again but nope it’s just a buncha greyscale dolls
Like I did with the Mad Hatter a while back, I decided to fiddle with Rosabella’s colors to make them less like Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (with the yellow and all) and make them more like Rosabella’s own
So I toned all the yellows to be more orange, and changed the fluffy part of her top to be lighter, almost yellowish to kinda keep SOME yellow on her (because the color DOES look good on her, it’s just,, yknow), and to also try to balance her palette to be a little lighter in contrast to her cousin Briar’s secondary color being black
I kept the red in her hair, and honestly kinda used it to tone the rest of the colors
Now I still think her canon colors are nice but I wish they didn’t directly reference Disney for her parents/general design. It’s almost glaringly obvious with how the statues of her folks look in the background-
