“Your will be done…” Inspired by a scene from the online series Critical Role.
[Spoiler Ahead] Death represents nature taking its course and a huge part of all our lives. It makes us humble. Makes us stronger in it’s presence. Vax approaches the Raven Queen in a desperate attempt to humbly bargain for the life of his fallen friend Scanlan, while he hangs by a few destiny strands connecting him with everyone with whom he share love, joy, sadness and hate. The Raven Queen looks down at her champion, emotionally defeated by serving something that he respects and accepts but has taken so much from him, knowing for certain that many other champions knelt before her and bargain for the same thing.
ok but the TRAUMA of becoming a god. the literal dehumanization. sure, the old god of death had their name stricken from history, but the raven queen? she is what nobody was ever meant to be. she had a life, a name, a career, a friend. she was a person, with intricacies and flaws.
a thousand years from now, no one will remember her as she was. godhood is as much a prison as it is a privilege. it’s a job you can never leave. a concept you can never not embody. imagine what it does to a person, to go from being a mortal individual to a fundamental piece of the laws of reality.
i hope i can find a roleplay focused campaign locally to play her.
Meet Sister Agatha. She left her temple to instill the Raven Queen’s wrath onto those who soil the natural order of life and death. Having to live most of her life serving in the Temple of the Raven Queen, she barely knows anything about the intricacies of the real world. She answers the call of adventure and is out to experience everything along the way! Despite being timid in nature, her adrenaline takes over the moment battle starts, hyper-focusing on targets that needs to be shot down. shoot now, questions later!
I am very very excited as @oki-j suggested a beach photoshoot. The story that was depicted in the photos is my fantasy/fanfiction of Hunter and Ashlynn, if they continue to date against fate.
I know…I just did a Valentine Day Hunter x Ashlynn Photo series this Feburary 2017. But lets just imagine that….they had dated for years (I can’t wait for after a few valentine days to do this>n< !!!), and probably in some culture, where couple cohabit before marriage…lets just say that they cohabited in the forest, in a cottage, surrounded by nature. However, in the culture that I am exposed to, there is no such thing as cohabiting, only living together after marriage! So they will be living in the forest, surrounded by nature after marriage~ hmmm….This is a MEGA hint for my next Huntlynn project XD !!!
By the way, do check out @oki-doll ‘s version of what happened at the beach as we collaborated to make this shoot possible~ She prepared the umbrella, mat and picnic basket, while I prepared the volleyball net and volleyball~ And we prepared our doll’s outfit! So..that’s a lot of preparation i guess~
Many many many thanks for @oki-doll for making Ashlynn Ella’s Bridal Shower possible by providing me with the backdrop, props and dolls!!!!! Aside from Hunter and Ashlynn as well as the boys’ costume, all the other items you have seen in the photos are provided by her <3
It is a challenging shoot as there are so many dolls in frame! But I am really loving the result and how the story proceeded and changed while I am shooting it^^
For the ending, if you are wondering, I ended it with that sentence by Maddie, suggesting that this Bridal Shower was just a dream^^
