Dallas Fan Expo haul. I finally got the other big @jscottcampbellart art print and i could not pass up the amazing samurai/tmnt art prints. The Iron Spider Civil War 3 variant is finally mine. I was a lil mad i missed out on it last year. I also picked up a few high grade copies of the Flash. Anime-wise, i got a cool figuarts zero fig of Vegeta, a JBA lanyard, KLK satsuki phone charm and the Behelit from Berserk. An excellent day of buying merch

Well, everything kind of fell into place last minute, and I actually managed to make it to FanExpo for a day! I didn’t think that was going to happen, so it was actually kind of a pleasant surprise.
I ended up running around as Princess Zelda from Breath of the Wild in her white dress, which was crazy comfortable for once. The only thing was the wig made my back kind of sweaty, but other than that I can put this particular costume in the “fun to wear” category. Plus it’s been a while since I did a Legend of Zelda costume.
I didn’t really do anything except run around and take pictures. I tried to get into the Voltron Cast panel at one point, but by the time I found the line it was pretty much wrapped around the building so I figured it wasn’t worth the bother. Instead I took advantage of the captive audience to run up and down the line grabbing photos of cool cosplayers. Muahahaha, they couldn’t run for once! So yeah, if you were in line for the Voltron panel and you had a crazy Zelda run up to you and ask for your photo, that was me!
I ended up calling it a day pretty early though, which was too bad. It was just exhausting to have to constantly go back and forth between the two buildings, especially with all the crowds, so I just couldn’t make it through to the evening. Ah well. It was a quick con day for me, but at least I had fun.

We’ll be at FanExpo this weekend at our usual spot at the top end of Artist’s Alley! The twist: this will be our last year selling at that con! So come by for one last hello and help clear out our stock so we don’t have to take it all back to our new home in New Brunswick
