“You know I’ll deny this till the day I die…”

14 days later…

20 days later…

So I know there’s been talk about Fatin being impressed by confident Leah. Which, yes. But I feel like she’ll also be kinda thrown?

Her arc of becoming less self-centered has been so centered on Leah, and she’ll want to be down in the trenches with her more than ever now that she knows the truth. On top of being even more protective of her mental health, upon seeing how far she’s come.

While Leah, despite wanting to be believed more than anything, will at the same time want to prove she can be the solid one for once. So imagine Fatin hovering and Leah snapping that she doesn’t need her… then immediately regretting it, despite Fatin graciously conceding the point and backing off.

And then Leah has some breakthrough and goes to find Fatin, firstly to apologize. But Fatin cuts her off, saying she recognizes Leah isn’t the same girl she knew on the island. Or back home, for that matter… speaking of which: “I’m not her, either… I need you.”

And Leah is so taken aback and overwhelmed she doesn’t know to say. But finally settles on: “You have me.”
