Excerpt from A Reaper’s Fall:
The creature shrieked as the aetheric chains pierced its chest. It was Adrien but not Adrien, two voices raised in discordant harmony as it wailed in pain and rage. The thing threw itself against the circle of seals, pushing against its cage, howling an unearthly wail as the Doman writing burned against its skin.
"₣Ʉ₵₭ ɎØɄ!“ "ł'VɆ ₩₳ł₮ɆĐ ₮ØØ ⱠØ₦₲ ₣ØⱤ ₮Ⱨł₴. ₮ØØ ⱠØ₦₲. ł₦ ₮ⱧɆ Đ₳Ɽ₭ ₳₦Đ ₮ⱧɆ ₵ØⱠĐ. ɎØɄ ₩Ø₦'₮ ₮₳₭Ɇ Ⱨł₥ ₣ⱤØ₥ ₥Ɇ."
If the elezen still resided within, there were no outward signs of him and Akinari’s call fell on deaf ears. The creature thrashed again, only synching the chains tighter and causing the voidsent to spew forth a string of dark curses at its captor. Blood splattered against the floor and Malphas laughed darkly, pausing briefly only to bend Adrien’s face into a twisted grin. His arm was already hanging at an unnatural angle, dislocated out of it’s socket in the frenzy.
"ɎØɄ ₥₳Ɏ Ⱨ₳VɆ ₥Ɇ ₵₳₲ɆĐ ฿Ʉ₮ ł Ⱨ₳VɆ Ⱨł₥. ₱ɆⱤⱧ₳₱₴ ₩Ɇ ₵₳₦ ₴₮Ɽł₭Ɇ ₴Ø₥Ɇ ₭ł₦Đ Ø₣ ฿₳Ɽ₲₳ł₦ Ⱨ₥₥₥₥???” Both eyes were glowing violet and black smoke curled off of the elezen. “₳₦Đ ɎɆ₴ ⱧɆ ₵₳₦ ⱧɆ₳Ɽ ɎØɄ, ₮ⱧØɄ₲Ⱨ ⱧɆ'₴ ł₦ ₦Ø ₣ł₮ ₴₮₳₮Ɇ ₮Ø ₳₦₴₩ɆⱤ. ⱧɆ'₴ ฿Ʉ₴Ɏ ɆӾ₱ɆⱤłɆ₦₵ł₦₲ ɆVɆⱤɎ ɆӾ₵ⱤɄ₵ł₳₮ł₦₲ ₥Ø₥Ɇ₦₮."
Malphas cackled, a wild, hungry look in its eyes. "₳ĐⱤłɆ₦!! ł ₭₦Ø₩ ɎØɄ ₵₳₦ ⱧɆ₳Ɽ ₥Ɇ! ɎØɄ ĐØ₦'₮ ₲Ɇ₮ ₮Ø ₴ⱠɆɆ₱ ₮ⱧⱤØɄ₲Ⱨ ₮Ⱨł₴ Ø₦Ɇ. ₦Ø₮ ₳₣₮ɆⱤ ฿Ɽł₦₲ł₦₲ ₥Ɇ ł₦₮Ø ₮Ⱨł₴ ⱧɆⱠⱠⱧØⱠɆ. ₦Ø. ɎØɄ ₦ɆɆĐ ₮Ø ฿Ɇ ₱Ʉ₦ł₴ⱧɆĐ!!”
