Peony time, this is one of my favorites in my garden.
A very old variety that came from my Great Grandmothers house originally.
I adore Dianthus. I grew this variety from seed and wanted it specifically because of its wonderful clove fragrance. Not all Dianthus are fragrant so I always look for that bonus.
Some come up pink, others come up white - FUN!

Rhododendron in the Rain
Funny story, I was given just a teeny pup of a plant and was told a Camellia. It finally bloomed after 7 years of growth and turns out to be a Rhododendron, and a fine one at that!
But big RATS, I still don’t have a Camellia :(
