Fancy Dog blooming this morning!
Ozark Rebounder coming into bloom.
And false indigo is opening up too
The flowers are coming along nicely. I always forget how much I love my irises until May comes around again. The first clematis bloom is fully open now, and the false indigo is getting super close to blooming. And I swear the peony will bloom any day now!
One of a Kind bloomed today!
And I’m pretty sure this one is an Ozark Rebounder. The beard is dark purple, instead of the pale lavender of the Constant Companion beards.

Allium and irises are really taking off
And the peony is so close! I also have a few flower heads on the coneflowers, but those take forever to open.

Purple bearded Iris. Tennessee’s state flower (Iris’s in general). Someone brought this one to the local fair to be judged and it won best in show. We were all amazed it was still blooming at the end of August, let alone so fantastically.
It won best in show easily.
