As a toad parent, I greatly appreciate you saving this toad from certain death. This does, however, only lend evidence to my working theory.
I personally believe that toads are frogs, but done poorly.
Think about it! They’re not as good at leaping. Or climbing. Or swimming. They’re basically off brand frogs. Much like myself.
But that’s why I have an entire blog dedicated to them. Because even off brand frogs need love too.
Don’t eat your husband! That’s rude!

Holly being a bean to her little sister Meadow
Holly is a hybrid of an American Toad and a Fowler’s Toad. Baby Meadow is a Canadian Toad.
That just means that Holly is functioning as expected. If toads aren’t being beans to their roommates, that’s when you should panic.
“Why, yes. I am sitting on my roommate’s head. What about it?”
Oddly enough, it’s Eleven doing the head sitting for once. I suppose I can’t fault her.
Though Alf really doesnt deserve it.
