After a lot of deliberation, I’ve decided to start posting my drawing on this blog too. I’ve been practicing a lot in the last year and posting most of it to my main blog, @featherywingss. I’ll make sure not to flood this blog too much with these drawings, I’ll only post the ones I’m proud of, but I just don’t do enough graphic design anymore to keep this blog as updated as it should be.
As always, I don’t want anyone to feel pressured to keep following me, so if this kind of art isn’t really your thing, I totally get it. I’ll also be tagging all of these as #drawing in case any of you want to stick around for anything in between these.

Now that that’s out of the way, have my first Inktober drawing of the year! I’ll be doing as many as I can, but definitely not daily. My classwork has to come first right now.
i’m convinced that there’s only like fifteen Black people on this goddamn website why do so many of you guys rb Black trauma without fucking tagging it
like does it occur to ANY of you non-Black people that maybe Black people don’t want to constantly be reminded that this world fucking hates us and doesn’t want us to be alive or successful
if you guys stopped getting off on your trauma porn for just five fucking seconds and listened to Black people instead of sPrEaDiNg aWAreNeSs (reblogging Black faces that have been disfigured by police brutality doesn’t spread awareness— we fucking know police brutality exists we have been over this. spreading information on how to combat it is spreading awareness), i swear you’d realize how unsafe you make the internet for Black people.
and this goes for more than just white people. anti-Blackness transcends racism: it is a very specific kind of oppression, separate from the struggles of other POC. if you aren’t Black and you just share this shit, especially without content warnings, you are the problem. it’s so hard to find purely Black, safe spaces online and it’s especially harder on tumblr because of how anonymous it is. stop making it harder by making us relive trauma over and over again.

Not a lot of scenes with them together on this episode (and all of them awful to draw), so I think this was the best choice - at least dialogue wise, and hopefully I managed to do an okay job at least
