The day is finally here. This project has come a long way. A journey through my mind during one of the lowest times in my life. A journey through grief. These 7 tracks were experimental and personal, some different, unusual for someone like me. (I’d like to believe.)
.
I still remember those cold winter nights and cold winter evenings…heading to the studio not expecting much…I had written lyrics, a melody and a beat with an idea.
.
Do I feel ready? No…are you expecting anything? I’d be lying if I said no…but this EP is beyond what I want…this EP became what I needed to get over the year.
.
I came into this with no expectations, I just wanted to make music and really mean it, while stepping out of my comfort zone. Create a story, create a vision, create someone who people don’t recognize, someone who can handle hits and the blow. Not a shield, but an armour I can proudly show.

What next? I’m not even sure. I just wanna live in the moment. I don’t want to worry about the future. I’d like to take this moment and just soak it in, let this EP marinate and when I’m ready…continue.

I want to give thanks to everyone who helped me make this a reality, to the producers I’ve spoken to over the internet and to my engineer who became mi hermano and was there every step of the way. Shout outs to my familia y'all know who you are, for all the support going into this. I can’t thank you enough. I want to give a personal shout out to the muse which started this…thank you for the memories and the inspiration.

Come what may…like I mentioned before, I don’t know what’s to come from this. But I know you’ll catch a glimpse of what goes on in my head creatively. This project was a form of therapy for me and every time I went into the booth the session began. A year in the making. Ideas throw around, no real heading but just one objective, take a chance, take that leap of faith, no regrets. I feel like I’ve accomplished that. The need to release these tracks, this EP, this journal, this Letter of bottled up emotions in music form. Was great. I needed an outlet.

This is a little project I’ve been working on for over a year since the pandemic hit. The whole world was put on pause, many lost loved ones and lost jobs. While some were waiting for the world to start again I started creating my own world. I thought to myself if I’m going to do anything…I might as well start now. After being let go of job where I worked for 3 years, I knew I was expendable to them, all the while I was dealing with my mental health from my past. I invested alot of my time and efforts into this project and I can say I left everything on the track. It may not be what many expect and that’s okay because I’m growing and hopefully getting better as time and experience go by.

I hope y'all enjoy this EP and just take it as is and vibe…let go…

Sincerely, Fuego Blanc is an open letter to unresolved issues of love, heartbreak, denial, escape depression, grief and acceptance.

I never found closure so I did what any lonely artist does, I wrote about it and put it on a tune, and got myself a team of two and hit the Stu.

I don’t even know if I’m ready…

I just have to keep going…
