i’m still in no shape to write out things but i can bulletpoint some nonsense ideas about this ship so here we go
au where Yunan is still somewhat loyal to the king and our heroes need to get past her to save Marcy so they all kind of… side-eye Olivia who just sighs and goes “first let me change clothes and second I need a stiff drink.” who then proceeds to seduce Yunan away from her post including a well-timed Kiss Of Distraction when the heroes accidentally make noise. (also included - “you know for someone who rolled her eyes at this plan lady olivia seems really into it-”)
I’m sure everyone’s made this AU where Yunan and Olivia runaway with Marcy and I’m joining the wagon so everything else here is related to that
Yunan mostly undressed to train/exercise and Olivia just… kind of… staring… Yunan assumes it’s because she’s got a lot of scars and is kind of :/ but of course it’s because Yunan is ripped as hell so Olivia is just FLUSTERED
Finding out that as a Newt Noble Olivia actually has a fiancé and Yunan is VERY BOTHERED BY THIS even when Olivia states it was something her parents arranged and she has zero interest in the guy but Yunan is still VERY BOTHERED
Marcy ships them 110% but all of her romance knowledge comes from games and anime so while she plays matchmaker she’s not really great at it. (Olivia: Why do you keep calling me a tsundere, what even is that)
At times in towns to avoid being found out they have to pretend to be married. Olivia’s pretty chill about it. Yunan is YES I AM WIFE AND THIS IS MY WIFE AND WE ARE WIVES AND WE DO ALL THE WIFE THINGS /sweatsweatsweat
Olivia knows from the start she has feelings for Yunan and is only conflicted by the fact that, outside of battle, Yunan is so so so dumb but… even that part of her is cute, much to Olivia’s frustration
Yunan has never given one thought to love and romance so is very ??? about these feelings and it has to be spelled to her face multiple times
Usually wherever they go Olivia is the one that attracts a lot of attention because she be pretty, but in one “episode/adventure” they discover a hidden island of Amazon-like lizards who fawn over Yunan and Olivia is handling this very well (marcy: um you’re breaking the table-) SHE’S HANDLING THIS VERY WELL
One time Olivia gets hurt in battle but they come out victorious as always but Yunan retreats for a time and Olivia has to go after her, only for Yunan to break down admitting that for all her bravado she’s now terrified of the idea of Olivia being hurt and being unable to protect her.
It’s Serious Romance Times when one of them says the others actual name without the title
