Summary: Aladdin!AU: Living like a thief in Agrabah’s streets, stealing to eat, and being a so-called “father figure” to Naruto, a war orphan he has practically adopted, certainly doesn’t give Iruka such a high life expectancy or comfort. But Iruka is trying to keep himself and Naruto out of unnecessary problems—and the keyword is trying. Because, when Iruka woke up this morning, surely helping a noble, sarcastic, and absolutely-not-gorgeous foreigner to escape the royal guard, involving himself in a conspiracy to overthrow the sultan when all he wanted was steal a simple jewel, and so ending up in a legendary magic cave in the middle of the desert, with a magic carpet and a drunk genius, who, of course, has magic powers and can bestow Iruka literally anything that he wants, wasn’t what he expected, at all.
But, yeah.
Gods may hate Iruka, but—in the end—it is worth the price to kiss the pretty mug of the (fake) sultan Kakashi Hatake.
