to simplify: churches are forbiddento promote specific political parties or candidates, in order to maintain tax-exempt status. noreligious institution is allowed to make explicit political statements, including “this party is bad,” “this party is good,” “you should vote for x,” “you should notvote for x,” or “let’s raise money for xpolitical party or campaign.” all of those things are super illegal! if they’re going to act as a political entity, they need to pay taxes like any other political entity! report their asses!!!!

cas was fantastic because supernatural was about american men and being cool and tough and drinking beer and eating burgers and knowing about pop culture. but then cas shows up and he is tougher and older and has fought more battles and can drink more than sam or dean ever could, and he doesn’t give a fuck. all his power is just a vehicle to get what he really wants which is to look after bees and parent his kids and spend time with the man he loves. it’s often played for a joke but all those jokes accidentally made it canon that a sincere, nurturing queer man can beat the heroes of the story in every benchmark of traditional male success. that’s why he made the show great and that’s why the cw wanted him dead
