#gilligans island
fanfic idea/prompt
The main characters in a book/movie/tv show/etc are replaced with their counterparts from generic alternate universes, but each counterpart is from a different au.
To use Gilligan’s Island* as an example, the castaways from the prime universe are replaced with:
- Gilligan from the fantasy au
- Skipper from the animal au (he’s a walrus)
- Mr. Howell from the wingfic au (don’t ask why they don’t just fly home)
- Mrs. Howell from the victorian au
- Ginger from the high school au
- Professor from the ghost au
- Mary Ann from the coffee shop au
*The castaways and the au’s were paired up using a random number generator.

I think Mary Ann has her “manically ogle the Professor while he wrangles pigeons” look down pretty well. You can practically see little hearts shooting out of her eyes.
