After 26 VERY long days, (THIS IS A RECORD TIME YOU GUYS!!!) I’ve just finished uploading the last page of this year’s @gishwhes book. I want to thank everyone who has participated throughout the past few years. You keep amazing me with your creativity and every single photo makes me so pumped about designing the book and the merchandise for gishwhes.
Designing for gishwhes has occupied a HUGE part of my life these past few years and it’s brought out the strangest and craziest side of my creative personality.
HUGE THANK YOU to @monicad-photography who’s been my partner in crime since the start for these books. And @everkings , who is such a talented lifesaver!
Yes, I’m sad this year was the last year of gishwhes. But if @mishacollins is to be believed, there’s probably something more insane around the corner. I do hope to be a part of whatever it is he throws our way, but until then WE ARE DONE!!!

Sorry for the radio silence. Have been crazy busy with designing the style issue of @stmperth for Perth Fashion Festival and the creation of the @officialgishwhes Schwag schwop! Can’t wait til September ends

Item #15: Create a “food truck” that sells something incongruous with food trucks. It could be delicious pesticides, microchips, shower caps or anything in between. It can’t be compassion, empathy, or anything that “feeds the soul.” As loathe as we are to say this: get creative. Your truck must advertise its wares with flashy signage.
Huge thanks to @jasperbeans for helping me break into the food truck at work & being terrible at looking disgusted.

Item 178: Danish artist Thomas Dambo creates massive wooden giants from recycled materials and installs them in Copenhagen forests. That’s great, but some giants prefer urban living. Build a hipster giant that’s at least 8’ (2.4m) tall from recycled materials and place it in the middle of a busy city or town.

TIMELAPSE. This means something… Subtractive food sculpture. Start with a block of cheese or a massive mountain of mashed potatoes and without using tools, eat your way to an ornate re-creation of a famous statue.
I ATE CHEESE FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR THIS. MISERY AND SUFFERING! THIS IS WHAT WE ASKED FOR!
