Another painting of Vimes/Keel and young Sam from Night Watch because Night Watch is awesome. And it really yanked on my heartstrings with that wrenching scene in the Cable Street Watch House (if you’ve read the book, then you know what scene I’m talking about)!
But for those who don’t know this scene, Vimes is comforting young Sam (his younger self, because time travel) because he just saw some horrible things.
I finished reading Thud!, and Sally the vampire is quite a lot of fun! :DDD She’s described as having short hair in the book and can likely pass as a boy, but I thought it’d be cool to give her a poofy bob cut! Plus I think it makes her look like a medieval knight of sorts XDD
I finished reading Night Watch a few days ago (technically the day I posted the Sybil/Sam painting because I finish these studies fast loll), and can I just say – boy oh boy!! So here’s Sam Vimes acting as John Keel, taking a stroll with young Sam (because of time travel shenanigans and all XDD)

Adora Belle Dearheart from Discworld! I first encountered her last year through the movie, Going Postal; I haven’t read the book yet, but I really want to! I’m planning to get to it after I finish the Watch books XDD

Sam Vimes and Lady Sybil, one of my favourite Discworld couples! :DDD I didn’t pin this down to any of the Watch books; you can imagine it as a simple sleepy scene XD I imagine there’s still some time before Vimes has to get up and go to work, so Sybil leaves him a good-luck kiss <333
Susan’s face-off with Mr. Teatime at the end of Hogfather! Rest assured that Death is nearby, both in the story and the drawings XDD I made Susan’s eye shine a bit in the shadows, which can be interpreted as the side that Death’s standing by (hence the shadows on that side as well), or she could be channeling her own Death energy loll

Sam Vimes sees the dragon! A scene from Guards! Guards! – a Discworld book that I haven’t read yet lmaoo But as far as I know, there’s a big dragon that causes some chaos, and Ankh-Morpork’s deteriorating police force manages to stop it? I think?? loll
Angua von Uberwald from Discworld! I was planning to draw her in her Watch armour, but it turned into this cloak to match with the rest of her colour palette ^^;;; I also gave one of her eyes a wolfy glow effect, maybe to suggest that she’s about to turn into her werewolf form.

The canonical fact that Vimes doesn’t play chess because the only thing he can think about is that the pawns really should unionize and overthrow their useless king is one of my favorite tidbits in a series full of great little details
