Happy first day of May! In France we offer lily of the valley for good luck (you’re lucky if there are 13 bells on the branch.)

Din Djarin & GroguHarry Styles, “Love Of My Life”

A continuation of the last post, because I saw someone say that din needs to teach boba how to hold grogu and it made me smile

I know that boba would realistically be a very good father but this is extremely funny to me, also I instantly forget dins name everytime I try to tag him help

Some older sketches I’ve never gotten around to posting, but God, do I LOVE me some reluctant mand'alor din, also I watched the Lego ninjago movie last night and I most certainly almost cried

Fic Prompts: Star Wars Wednesday

(This is in the same universe as my vampire au, but takes place on the other side of the Dune Sea, some twenty years after Luke first came to Castle Bast)

Ser Tano was methodical about her preparation to take on The Governor. She polished her twin blades with the same devotion and focus she had been taught as a child. It was both soothing and bittersweet, knowing how few people there were left across the sea that studied the Life Force of All Magics. Her foster family, the knights that had raised her after raiders decimated her home, would never see her teaching their ways to another generation.

If the captain could bear to part with that new generation, anyway.

Ahsoka sheathed her swords and sighed. The silver blades were ready. The hawthorn stakes had been sharpened. She had talismans and warding runes. Best to rest while she had the chance.

Ahsoka ducked the low doorway to the cabin of the Razorcrest. The ship’s captain, the Mandalorian Din Djarin, glanced up at her as she entered. He barely nodded his polished helmet in greeting, then returned to carefully pouring hot tea into a tiny cup for The Changeling, Grogu. A spicy smell drifted over the table to Ahsoka. Ginger?

With a half smile, the former Jedi took a seat on the other side of the table. “….what is that?”

Din shrugged and stretched to lift a tightly sealed jar. “Ginger. It settles his stomach. Trust me, you don’t want to sail without it.”

That sounded wise. When Ser Plo Koon had brought Ahsoka across the sea to the Order for the first time, she had been horribly seasick. And Grogu was even younger, in a sense, than she had been.

“No, I know it’s ginger,” Ahsoka clarified, “But where did you get the fresh water?”

The Mandalorian motioned vaguely over his shoulder. “Oh, from the flask you left in the galley. That’s smart, carrying clean water with you. You never know what’s safe to drink out here.”

From her flask?

The one with her satchel in the galley?

Ser Tano breathed in sharply. “….you….you brewed tea…with my holy water?”

There was a very awkward silence, and then Din cleared his throat. “…..should I…not…have…?”

Grogu lifted his tiny cup and slurped loudly.
