My birthday! So naturally I had to make sure this round of braids were fresh af. My hair has grown and I have edges! Never thought I’d make it this far

Thought it would be cool to do some time lapses seeing as it takes me so many hours to braid. This round took me 10 hours. I’m sure one day I’ll get quicker at it

Trimmed again. I’m really pleased with the growth of the sides washed, greased, moisturised and parted ready for braids again tomorrow

I had enough of this faded green and now that the sides have grown I figured it was time to trim! Still got little bits of green left but it looks a lot neater now :)

Took out the braids and dyed my hair brown. It was starting to look weird having too many different fading colours in my hair. Will go back to colour when I have more even length. The sides are coming through! Might take a break from braids in a few months if I have enough length

Hairs growing! Separated for another round of Marley twists.

Took out the twists and keep my natural hair out for a while. Added a bit of purple to wake the colour up :)

Marley twists! Picking up the sides and back was a tedious process. But because I chose to twist instead of braid it took 8.5 hours and it feels a hell of a lot lighter on my head lol

Some braid love.

Took out the braids and washed my hurr. Got some young g r o w t h.
Started redoing the braids and then had to go out half way so went for the aunty/pirate look with the bandana and hoops finished look pending.
