G'ali is what is disparagingly known as an “Outcat”: a Magicat who was not born or raised in Halfmoon. They are the rare Magicats that you might encounter throughout Etheria. While most people—these Magicats included—have heard of the Halfmoon Kingdom, they assume it’s ancient history or, if a person is particularly incredulous, nothing more than a legend.
G'ali’s parents were pirates, and they were infamous in Seaworthy for their misdeeds. Few knew they had a daughter. Because she was able to fend for herself, G’ali was often left alone while her parents embarked on one of their unsavory missions. Perhaps that is why, when they disappeared on one of those forays, no one cared about little G'ali but herself.
This is how Commander Percival found her. During an undercover mission outside of Halfmoon to Seaworthy. He was impressed by the survival skills (mostly stealing and scamming) of the filthy and malnourished Magicat, and decided to take her with him back to Halfmoon. There, under his distant but affectionate tutelage, she would eventually find herself a candidate to become the next queen.

Halfmoon family is growing up! And we love it.
These are Jasper, Azul, Sharnai and Ghalia, a bunch of dorks that love hanging out together. I was honored to be commissioned by some great people to do their Magicat OCs from the AU and I couldn’t be more happy about it.

Introducing our new character, Hestnut! Also known as (mostly by Catra) as Peanut face, Nutmeh, or Brownie.
This one is gonna be feisty…
You may remember her from our last comic, and many of you asked about her. She is based in a Habana Brown cat, a beautiful and rare cat breed.
Sir Tao is actually a real magicat that appeared in the original 80′s show btw!

Catra’s Coronation as C’yra III, Princess of Halfmoon.

Here you have again, some information about this scene:
Catra was not born being a princess.
Unlike other kingdoms in Etheria, Halfmoon doesn’t have a royal family.
Princesses to be Queens are chosen by the community based on their abilities. They must prove to be good leaders, compassionate, strong and intelligent. When the reign of a new Magicat begins, a group of young magicats are selected to be trained and educated to become a Princess.
Catra was one of them. She lost her parents when she was little and was raised by the Magicat community. At the age of six she went to live in the palace for her education as a princess. There she met G'ali, another would-be princess, also an orphan like her, as well as Oola, the future Shaman of Halfmoon whose family also lived in the palace.
When she came of age, Catra showed that she was the most suitable to be a Princess, surprising the queen herself with her strength, intelligence, and good heart.

When we started this AU we had no idea if you were gonna like it or not.
