A good man deserves a good birthday
Birthday Confessions for Logan (Analogical)
- Virgil wanted to do something to show just how much he really loved the logical side. After much time spent pep taking himself in the mirror, he dropped a poem at Logan’s door. He knew no other side would take it since Logan woke up bright and early and the other sides knew not to start birthday festivities until after he’s had his coffee.
- Logan finds the poem (which Virgil spent a lot of time stopping himself from taking back), and instantly knows who it’s from due to the slightly shaky handwriting.
- Logan waits hopefully for Virgil to come down (since it’s a 50/50 chance of him either being the second up or waking up at midday) but Virgil waits until everyone else is up (definitely not to avoid confrontation and embarrassment).
- Logan knows that Virgil would rather have the conversation privately so he tries to convey his point subtly, unfortunately that is taken by Virgil as pity.
-Both go around the day, Logan reluctantly partaking in the activities and thinking he’s communicated to Virgil that he likes him romantically and Virgil wanting nothing more then to go back to his room and regret every life decision that’s led to this point.
- At the end of the night Logan goes to talk to him and Virgil instantly begins to apologise before Logan is just like ‘so, assuming we are together now, does that mean I may kiss you goodnight?’ And Virgil just stares for a few seconds before it all clicks.
- and yeah, they do chastely kiss goodnight.
(I also may write this as a full fic if anyone is interested - but it will be a very belated birthday for Logan)
