starting off the new year with finals review and a new shampoo bar :)
I started filling this out thinking I didn’t accomplish anything this year, but it turns out I only dropped the ball one month (well 2 if you count my failed attempt at smaugest).
I think the bulk of my creativity started in October with Inktober, which sadly I had to choose one of many that I loved. I also began taking Noah Bradley’s art camp for landscape studies, which is helping a ton! I am using what I’ve learned and applying it to current projects, which is this month’s WIP at the end.
It was a good year. I had extremely successful conventions in Denver and salt Lake! Spent a lot of time relaxing, due to pregnancy, but I am learning new art techniques!
2019 will be very exciting, yet challenging year. Once again juggling artwork with the newborn. Hopefully things go smoothly!

Even though ringing in 2018 was spent in bed with the Flu binge watching #StrangerThings…. I can say 2017 was in most part a great year! I took on many new things… Activism being the first! I got a new Charge at work which has been a wonderful addition! I watched each day as a baby has grown into a little girl! I’ve spent a ton of time with the ones I love! I’ve learned to let go of things… And grown by doing so. I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings…. I know there will be hard times… but I also know I’ll get through those times with the ones I live next to me! #HappyNewYear

This color match is from one of the pages in my “Tiny Pantone Objects” book that was published early May 2016. A lot has happened after that, in a good way, and I’ve been busy ever since working on another side business. I was quite a busy bee , although that made posting on this page more challenging. 2019 was filled with many challenges business-wise, but I learned a lot. I’m looking forward to applying those lessons in 2020.
