Happy Halloween! Last year I did a #witchwednesday challenge where I drew a celebrated witch from mythology/folklore each week in October. This year I decided to up the ante and did a witch featured in each decade of popular culture from 1900 to the present day. That’s 120 years of witchery, folks!

These were all posted throughout the month on my Instagram

Creation #11
Yahweh the Unfriendly Ghost

Thousands of years ago, the Israelite tribes worshipped dozens of gods, including Baal, Asherah, and Yahweh. As the kingdom of Israel emerged, it chose Yahweh as the supreme god, and worship of all other gods was banned.

Character designs are based on the supernatural child characters from Harvey Comics, originally designed by Joe Oriolo, Steve Muffatti, and Warren Kremer. The Harvey characters are currently owned by DreamWorks Animation.
