I’m so excited to be able to attend these outdoor events! I’ve missed seeing people in person and getting to talk to so many other artists and small businesses! And I’m so grateful to organizers with are taking precautions and setting up outdoor events. I’ll be bringing one of a kind pieces to both events.
Lots of other things are happening in the background. Both ongoing preorders will be wrapping up soon so I’ll be able to open another for the Bise dresses and hopefully the Velvet Sylvias! That pattern is finally all set and ready to go, and I found a supplier for the most beautiful cotton velvet!

I am a pragmatist who believes that one’s own efforts make things happen. But I do enjoy mysterious signs and the auspices of heavenly bodies. Wednesday’s super blue moon, blood moon & lunar eclipse - how portentous! - coincided with the anniversary of my mother’s death. I only noticed today that a rose had bloomed on the bush she gave me. It is not a prolific bloomer; the flowers are a fragile lilac pink and with a lovely subtle scent. Guess what? It’s called a Blue Moon. So, after suffering setbacks in December and January, I am taking it as a sign that the stars are going to align for me this month.
