Some Hello From The Hallowoods sketches I did ages ago and at this point I’m not sure if I will finish them; the second page is just a bunch of natural philosophy quotes that I found fitting to the hfth characters
the feeling when I looked through the hfth and realized that olivier is described as a) short and b) (east) asian. I had wanted to draw them for a while, but it hit me, as I was doing the sketch, that I could give them my eyes and not have to look up references for what eyes are “supposed” to look like, and that I didn’t have to draw the little eyelid crease because I don’t have that. it was such a singularly strange and wonderful feeling.
so thank you, @hellofromthehallowoods, for making a character whos hair is fun to draw (shiny :D) and also made me, an east asian person, nearly start crying because of eyelid creases (or lack thereof)
Dragging my partner into my Hallowoods re-listen and she really liked the lake dancing scene so I drew my interpretation of it. I’m still planning on doing more with it, but I thought the line work looked nice and now it’s a coloring page :]
