I like how Steven Grant often stresses the last syllable or letter of a word.

Yo is it weird to write self insert fanfiction where the platonic friendship you’ve written for yourself and the main character slowly becomes romantic without your permission or intent and suddenly find yourself writing what qualifies as masturbatory fantasies but at the same time really really want people to read the fic when it’s finished because there’s a lot of cool scenes but still feel awkward about sharing it because the way you accidentally peppered in a growing emotional connection throughout the story which has somehow turned into an increasing romantic tension that culminates in a love scene so you can’t just do a smut-free edit of the now 24k words worth of something that you are genuinely proud of?
I always write nonlinearly, so how the FUCK did I end up writing in romance?!
In the end, it’s still the most TMI thing ever written because I tend to ramble about myself to total strangers in real life, so of course I’m gonna over share if I’m writing myself as a character that gets dumped into a fandom. This is the downside of no longer having a filter due to a traumatic brain injury.
