King Minos and his royal children. The Manthos Palace is from @kyriat-sims , thank her for making such a beautiful scene, unfortunately SimS4 map is too small and few, otherwise it would be spectacular. Hopefully EA will release a feature to resize maps.
It’s an honor and so much fun seeing my lots used by others! I love what you have done with it @weiyi228. It’s looking great! Thank you!
Here you can enjoy your solitude, or you can invite all your friends and family and enjoy their company.
I wanted to have lama wool so I made a stable were I put the shelter. I didn’t want it to show, and not the lama itself either, since there were no lamas in ancient Greece (duh!), so until EA give us sheep and sheep wool this is how it will be! I hope you have fun with the lot anyway!
A huge thanks to the following creators for their startling CC. The list with links is included in the download zip. Package files are included/not included in accordance with the creator’s TOU, please download and install all cc before you place the lot.
Olives, cows and chickens are the base of this farm. With time the winestock can become something, and if you wait, maybe even the sheeps and pigs will give you income? (Well, not really. They are decorative, as is most of the “olive trees”). The main house is quite big, so you should have room for a growing family here. I hope you’ll have fun with it!

The King is indisputably the head of the kingdom and the family. But in practice, it is the Queen who controls the court and the family’s duties and privileges.

It’s a manifestation of power and greatness. Not always comfortable, but definately impressive! In Minoan times there were many palaces, Knossos on Crete may be the most famous, but Manthos in Willow Creek also has it’s beauty! I think your royal family will love it!
I’ve included my own set Manthos Palace BB and bits and pieces from previous sets, you can find all my CC here. I’ve also used some incredible CC from the following creators, a list with links to each item is included in the download zip. This house is neither rural nor urban, but something charming in between.
It’s wonderful when you can live in the mid of the village, but still have your little farm. This house has space for animals and humans sims, and as far as we can tell they all love it.
I’ve included items from my own sets; Ancient Vet, Pots and Pieces, and Parmenidh, and also used some wonderful CC from the following creators (Go here for full list and details):
Please don’t get confused when you open the file and the name of the house is “Troi House”. Unfortunately I couldn’t save it to the Gallery with the correct name, because Troia is on the EA list of bad words. I can’t imagine what problems Troia could cause for innocent souls after all these years, but there you go.
This lot has no cc, so I’m stretching the historical aspect quite a bit to make it functional and enjoyable to play. I hope you still get that Early Civilization vibe from it!
The unbeatable combination of a profound debate and eclectic shopping!
Did you hear the new philosopher’s speech? It was so great! He attracted so many people! Some were debating his thesis, but most nodded in agreement. Even if they didn’t have a clue what he was talking about. And then they went shopping. Makes you think, doesn’t it?
I’ve included items from my own sets; Pots and Pieces,ParmenidhandPetroglyphs 3, and also used some marvelous CC from the following creators (Go here for full list and details):
Not everybody wants to spend all their savings on a house. There is no need to! In this house a family of five and their animals (decor) lives quite pleasantly, without a lot of unnecessary stuff.
A prehistoric save based in Oasis Springs - The Stone Age version! Twelve residential lots, nine community lots, six household included. CC is needed! Read more under the cut.
✅ What you get: A prehistoric save built in Oasis Springs. I’ve made nine community lots, twelve residential lots and six sim households. (You can see the overview here.) There is also a considerable amount of edited townies. However, since I didn’t plan to upload when I remade them, I might have used CAS items (hairs and outfits) that is not on the CC list. (I am WCIF friendly by the way) If it looks bad, most of them can be deleted, but the game will probably spawn new ones with awful, modern outfits…
The worlds except Oasis Springs are empty, with the exception of a few specific lots. Some townies will move in on empty residential lots, and they will survive perfectly fine on love and fresh air, don’t worry!
If you want to see pictures from this save you can look here.
✅Packs needed: Oasis Springs is BG, so in principle you don’t need any other packs. However, I would say that you will need Outdoor Retreat,Island LivingandGet Together as a minimum, since I’ve used items from those packs on almost every lot I’ve made. I’ve also used other packs, and if you don’t have them, items from those packs will be removed or replaced with basegame itmes, and that might look strange. If you feel you need more info on this, you can find it in each lot’s blog post. (Links overview here)
✅CC used: I’ve included two folders with included items: CC for lots and CC for items. Some creators do not allow their creations to be included, so you have to do the download yourself. I’ve made lists (for lots and sims) with creations and download links.
✅The save: I’ve given the save slot number 88. If you already have a save with that number, you will need to change the number to something else. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this, watch this video by Miss Mani.
Just so you know, the lots and households will not show in your library, unless you save them there yourself, or download and install the trayfiles from my blog.
Suggestion:It’s a good idea to backup your game before you install any downloaded save, just in case something goes haywire. As with all mods and cc you always download and install at your own risk.
Should you want a unpopulated version, just evict the six families in Oasis Springs and then go to the Manage householdsand delete everybody.
The download file is big (165MB) - after all, it contains most of the CC for 21 lots and 6 families - and will take quite some time to download if you have a slow connection.
There might be updates or changes in the future. You will find that info in the original blogpost.
Step by step:
Download the file below
Download the not-included CC
Copy or move all .package files into your Mods folder
Put the .save file in your Save folder
Open your game
Click the ‘Load Game’ button and find “KyriaT’s Stone Age Save”.
Afon and Muirenn will soon be parents. Khur has has decided to move camp out of the valley once the baby has arrived. The weather in the valley is making food more scarce. Combined with increased competition from the other camps, it’s unsustainable. They will move to the green hills, usually their summer fishing grounds. The people that live near the rivers are different but welcoming.
Maybe I’m a bit self-absorbed, but I must admit it’s really fun to follow stories where my lots are used. @taanoir makes some very handsome sims and I love to see what they are up to!
The boys playing the Mechanicals had claimed the side room as the boys’ dressing-room, so the girls and Clem were packed into the little space behind the makeshift barrier they had made out of bedsheets. The crush of hairbrushes, costumes, and bodies was made more crowded still by Honour’s costume, which involved an antique and cumbersome crinoline several feet in diameter which had belonged to Lady Elaine’s grandmother.
‘Clem, can you help me with my crin? I’m all thumbs.’
Clem’s stomach lurched as her fingers brushed the small of Honour’s back in a way she couldn’t quite brush aside as pre-performance jitters. She could smell the Pears soap Honour used, could almost feel the warmth of the nape of her neck. Honour was muttering under her breath, ‘What, jealous Oberon? Fairies, skip hence, I have forsworn his bed and company.’
Honour drew in a breath as Clem murmured back ‘Tarry, rash wanton, am I not thy lord?’
‘She’shere!’ hissed Mattie, peering through the crack in the bedsheets. ‘And there’s someone with her.’
‘Who’s here?’ Clem asked, distracted, at the same time as Daisy asked ‘Who’s with her?’
‘Lady Elaine, and I don’t know. She looks awfully bohemian, whoever she is. She looks as though she’s made up.’
‘You’re made up too, Mattie.’
Mattie blushed and touched her fingers to her cheek, on which a smattering of rouge had been inexpertly applied. ‘It’s different if it’s for the stage!’
Myrtle elbowed Mattie out of the way, peered around the edge of the sheet, and reeled back white in the face.
‘It’sLydia Langley!’
‘Who’s that?’ asked Mattie. Myrtle dealt her a withering look.
‘Lydia Langley, Mattie. She was a showgirl, but then she married the Earl of Brindleton. It was a terrific scandal. Then he died and she went back to the stage even though she’s ever so rich and she didn’t have to. Now she owns a theatre in Greater Windenburg, I think. I can’t believe she’s here. The Church Ladies will be in fits.’
‘They might not be if she’s as rich as all that’, Clem pointed out.
What a rude awakening it has been to realise that Dizzy isn’t a baby anymore. I can see how she and Eli look at each other now- I don’t know how I could have missed it before. Too wrapped up in my own pig-headedness. Soon she will be a young woman- and I- what will I be?
I’ve been thinking of nothing but the play. I’ve let myself think that we can be the Dramatic Society forever. That way I didn’t have to think about the future. But that isn’t going to cut ice much longer.
Mother and I were knitting on the porch this evening. She won’t allow me to pass an evening idle- by which she means, not wrapped up in some dreadful tangle of wool. I was knitting lumpy socks for the Benevolence Society to give to the poor. If they have any sense they’ll burn the ghastly things. Nobody could be poor enough to want them. Mother was knitting a blanket for Midge Dunn’s baby- born just six months after her and Norman’s wedding, in miraculously good health. Nobody will say a thing about it, of course. Do they think we can’t count? They’ve named him Cyril, a dreadful thing to do to a child.
It seems as though everybody is pairing off. They read the banns for Sybil Copeland and Paul Farber on Sunday. It seems such an odd match- clever, serious Paul and giggly little Sybil- but they were both fairly glowing. Half the girls I was at school with are engaged, or married, or about to be. It makes me feel so queer and alien.
We were talking about Paul and Sybil- or rather, Mother talked, and I nodded. I was thinking of the play. Then she looked at me and said, ‘It’ll be your turn soon, Clemmie.’
I felt like I was going to be sick. I felt like a fluttering bird in a cage growing smaller and smaller. That’s when I knew. I have to get out. I don’t know how- I don’t know where I’ll go- but I’ll find something. I can’t be a wife. I can’t be a mother. I can’tbe a woman.

Annie looked up at Daisy as she came into the sewing room with an odd expression on her face. Daisy picked up her embroidery and sat down, and they stitched in silence for a few minutes.
Finally Annie said, without looking up: ‘Daisy, dear, Eli doesn’t…bother you, does he?’
Daisy kept her eyes fixed on her sewing. ‘Of course not’, she managed steadily. ‘He’s just a friend.’
There was another long pause, broken only by the soft, rhythmic sound of needles passing through fabric. ‘Just remember, dear…he’s not a Christian.’
