This mod is designed for History Challenge players, the main objective of this mod is to prevent the need for players to constantly keep having to pull up the google doc and allow for a more challenging gameplay experience.

• This mod keeps track of every single generation up to the 11th generation (the final era, Future Tech) and sims inherit their respective generation trait on birth. You can find this trait in the sim info panel.
• It also keeps track of the era, you can also find this trait in the trait panel.
• Prevents sims from having access to interactions/jobs that are not unlocked yet in that era.
• Jobs unlock as the eras progress
• Interactions unlock as you progress
• Eras progress upon the birth of the first child in the new generation
• Every sim in the household will get the next era’s trait and the unlocked content that comes with it (sims will keep their own generation trait).
• If an interaction hasn’t unlocked yet, it will be greyed out with a tooltip telling you it isn’t available during that era
• Aging up via the birthday cake is not possible unless it is the sims actual birthday. (Not available on toddlers)
• You will get a notification on each era progression of what has been unlocked and the aspirations you can now use
• Upon starting the challenge (either from the default Stone Age or cheating a different era), you will be prompted to choose your starting funds. Either §5000 (Historian) or §8000 (Casual).
• Cheats are included, simply navigate to the piemenu on the mailbox. You have the option of starting from a specific era of your choose / the option to add any era trait (multiple can be added, but be aware this may cause issues with interaction/job restriction).
• You can end the history challenge (and wipe all traits from the household) by clicking on the mailbox and choosing ‘End History Challenge’.

Due to the nature of this mod, there are a lot of overrides. I have mostly packaged them separately, and you should be able to tell what the override is by the name of the package file. If you wanted to remove the career overrides or the birthday cake override, you are safe to do that without breaking the mod.

Norse Apron Dress (Viking age) for The Sims 4

This is absolutely not perfect at all, but at the time I did this, I couldn’t find anyone else who’d made this type of dress for TS4 yet, so I tried my hand at it anyway!

I used the Historian palette for the swatches, and as the Norse people actually enjoyed using dyes and colors in their clothing quite a lot, it was kind of impossible to think of every possible combination ever. So I didn’t. I only made 26 swatches, and as there are way too many variables going on with the design here, I included a .psd file as well!

Details

• 24-26 swatches by default.
  
• For adults, children and toddlers.
• There are two child versions, one with the brooches and necklace, and one without.
  
• Tagged feminine.
• All of these use the exact same base textures.
  

Known issues:

• The texture of the toddler version will bleed onto the legs.Sorry about that!! Either you should find some boots to cover it up (I recommend some of the TSM conversions found here), or you’ll have to edit the texture itself. Or find a way to embrace it. I don’t know.
  
• The toddler version will only show up if you have Cats and Dogs. Sorry!!
  
• If the boobs are big or perky enough, the necklace WILL clip. Trust me, I’ve attempted to fix this several times, but it just won’t behave. If this is a problem, just don’t give your viking lady a push-up bra. They didn’t really have them in the first place.
• The normalmap texture of the dress itself is a tad bit too shiny for my liking, and there are visible squares if you look close enough.

This was obviously my first attempt, and I honestly don’t know what I’m doing. Making clothing is way more painful than making hair. I really do wish someone more talented than me would try their hand at viking re-enactment dresses that actually look interesting, but for now, this will have to do.

Agroktima Troizena / Residential lot  

Olives, cows and chickens are the base of this farm. With time the winestock can become something, and if you wait, maybe even the sheeps and pigs will give you income? (Well, not really. Please don’t get confused when you open the file and the name of the house is “Troi House”. Unfortunately I couldn’t save it to the Gallery with the correct name, because Troia is on the EA list of bad words. I can’t imagine what problems Troia could cause for innocent souls after all these years, but there you go.

This lot has no cc, so I’m stretching the historical aspect quite a bit to make it functional and enjoyable to play. I hope you still get that Early Civilization vibe from it!

A prehistoric save based in Oasis Springs - The Stone Age version! Twelve residential lots, nine community lots, six household included. CC is needed! Read more under the cut.

✅ What you get: A prehistoric save built in Oasis Springs. I’ve made nine community lots, twelve residential lots and six sim households. (You can see the overview here.) There is also a considerable amount of edited townies. However, since I didn’t plan to upload when I remade them, I might have used CAS items (hairs and outfits) that is not on the CC list. (I am WCIF friendly by the way) If it looks bad, most of them can be deleted, but the game will probably spawn new ones with awful, modern outfits…  

The worlds except Oasis Springs are empty, with the exception of a few specific lots. Some townies will move in on empty residential lots, and they will survive perfectly fine on love and fresh air, don’t worry!

✅Packs needed: Oasis Springs is BG, so in principle you don’t need any other packs. However, I would say that you will need Outdoor Retreat,Island LivingandGet Together as a minimum, since I’ve used items from those packs on almost every lot I’ve made. I’ve also used other packs, and if you don’t have them, items from those packs will be removed or replaced with basegame itmes, and that might look strange. If you feel you need more info on this, you can find it in each lot’s blog post. (Links overview here)

✅CC used: I’ve included two folders with included items: CC for lots and CC for items. Some creators do not allow their creations to be included, so you have to do the download yourself. I’ve made lists (for lots and sims) with creations and download links.  

✅The save: I’ve given the save slot number 88. If you already have a save with that number, you will need to change the number to something else. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this, watch this video by Miss Mani.

✅Mods:I recommended the Timeless - A world decluttering mod by@pandorasimbox, it reduses the amount of modern items in your worlds. I also use Ceiling replacerby@lunanelfeah-deactivated20220127, if you don’t, the ceilings will be white. I’m also totally addicted to MC Command Center, a very useful mod, like making it easier to change townies’ outfits, control NPC spawning and a lot of other clever functions.

Just so you know, the lots and households will not show in your library, unless you save them there yourself, or download and install the trayfiles from my blog.

Suggestion:It’s a good idea to backup your game before you install any downloaded save, just in case something goes haywire. As with all mods and cc you always download and install at your own risk.

Should you want a unpopulated version, just evict the six families in Oasis Springs and then go to the Manage householdsand delete everybody.

The download file is big (165MB) - after all, it contains most of the CC for 21 lots and 6 families - and will take quite some time to download if you have a slow connection.

There might be updates or changes in the future. You will find that info in the original blogpost.

Step by step:

•    Download the file below
•    Download the not-included CC  
•    Copy or move all .package files into your Mods folder
•    Put the .save file in your Save folder
•    Open your game
•    Click the ‘Load Game’ button and find “KyriaT’s Stone Age Save”.
