I want to imagine Viggo is sitting atop a building across from where Hiccup lives or works or schools and he’s up there because of some dumb thing Hiccup said
Hiccup’s never been one to use his powers with bad intentions. Yet, when he spies a particularly handsome pirate one night he can’t help but hum a low tune to draw the man into the sea so he can get a closer look.
Most days Hiccup can ignore the color, passing it off as a trick of the light. He can convince himself that it isn’t Viggo that’s slowing down, it’s him that has extra energy today. And the deepening creases in his beloved’s face are good signs, signs of a life long lived.
But it does hit him on those nights where Viggo slumps heavily into bed, the weight of the day taking far more of a toll on his body than it used to, his age coming to the surface with one heaving sigh. Those are the nights Hiccup tries to smooth away the wrinkles and tuck the gray hairs away and remind himself that he still has many years with Viggo by his side.
I am very sleepy but I thought I’d stop in and see if anybody’s up for playing a few rounds of good ol’
Tuesday Night Cards Against the Archipelago!

I promise to play until at least 11PM, and you’re free to come and go as needed–if the game’s full, feel free to hop on in as a spectator, and if at first you don’t succeed (or you’re busy until later) try again later tonight!
(*if you’re new to or newly back to the HTTYD fandom, please note that this is a Cards Against Humanity game played with a custom deck that’s mostly about the TV/Netflix series Riders/Defenders of Berkand Race to the Edge, so if you’ve only seen the movies you won’t get a lot of the jokes! You are still welcome, though!)
