Hi everyone! This is the first part of a mini series I hope to begin, showcasing many peculiar’s throughout history. All characters are of my own creation, and in the future I hope to start showcasing some of your peculiar characters as well! I hope you enjoy the first part :^)

Harper Chaaya was born on April 15th, 1914 to a family of wealthy socialites throughout booming 10′s and the roaring 20′s, all nestled in the heart of the vastly developing New York state. All alone in a big home growing up, the young girl shadows would create images of mythical creatures to keep her company. As she aged, she realized the shadows in her room weren’t meant to feared - they were meant to be manipulated. 

Miss. Chaaya is a force to be reckoned with. Ambitious, young and cunning, she knows exactly what she wants. She is the shadows dancing across your walls at night, the moon in the sky that brings on the night. Do not be fooled, however, past the rough exterior lies a playful spirit sashaying her way to success. She enjoys reading, collecting things that shine, and researching those similar to her. 

Eager to be surrounded by her own kind, she is a free spirit, loop hopping through time as she pleases. Legend has it that sometime along the way the young woman’s heart was stolen by an intelligent ymbryne, which in recent years has decreased any confirmed sightings. Current whereabouts? In the shadows…

Hello again, Ruby here!

I want to start off by expressing how extremely grateful I am for the positive reception of my project idea so far!  I really want this to be something everyone can enjoy and creatively contribute to in one way or another, and I plan on doing my absolute best to make it so. I’ve always considered ways to expand the MPHFPC universe even before I started my blog, so this means a lot to me. :^)

Secondly, I am very excited to announce that I have set up a blog for the project and determined a date to launch my first post, as well as a post schedule. Within the next few days I plan on posting updates on this account, as well as teasing some of the peculiars. I will be posting the schedule, and overall giving more insight and history of the project, as well as things to expect and content I hope to share.

A big part of this project that I will advise is that this is a solely conceived and pursued concept; which allows me to be more expressive with my ideas, but also sets me back a lot more than if I were to be collaborating with a group of people in the community. I hope to be as active and as fast as possible with my content, but this also means I would love for the community to help contribute! This means…

- Do you have any peculiar OC’s, loops, or concepts you’d like to introduce into the mix?

- Do you like my characters? Do you have any ideas, headcanons, or general shitposting type posts to send in about them?

- Are there any posts, comic strips, short stories, or headcanons you’d like to see of my characters?

Ms. Swan’s Home for the Young & Exceptional!

“… Ms. Swan’s Home for the Young & Exceptional can be found through a little door in the back of the Elysian Cafe on Bitburg Alley, a street nestled somewhere hidden in the city of Albany, New York. Emergence into this loop will greet you with a bustling midday scene on the day of Saturday, October 30th, 1994. To locate the home, you must make your way through the bustling shop and down the street, nearing towards the well kept, hard to miss Swan Manor that calls out to you…

… Upon arrival, you will quickly be greeted with a burst of fresh energy: a young woman of a short stature greeting you at the door with a welcoming grin. The emerald in her shirt contrasting beautifully with her blue eyes and the white feather perched in her well-styled hair.

“I had a feeling someone was at the door,” She laughs a laid back energy wrapped around a proper exterior. Though her face is youthful, her eyes gleam with a look that is full of history and stories to tell.

She looks back at the staircase, and it’s for the first time that you take a look past the door. The well decorated home is carefully arranged with a modern-vintage hybrid flare, large paintings adorning the walls and plants placed in free spaces. It has a lived-in quality to it, toys scattered about and shoes messily tossed next to the doorway. Before you can make a comment, she calls into the all too quiet home.

“Children come down, there’s someone I would like for you to meet.”

Hello my lovely peculiar beings!

So recently I’ve gotten a burst of inspiration, and it has lead me to create an entire MPHFPC-based spin off, and I’m very excited to say that I am now at a point where I can share it you all! 

However, before I am able to share it, I need some follower feedback in order to get a good idea of how to portray said spin off ~

This project revolves around a loop that I have created, complete with a ymbryne, an in-depth background and 9 wards with fully developed backstories, personalities and most importantly: peculiarities! 

With this all in mind, my original plan looked a little something like this…

- Create a blog where I post backgrounds of the loop, ymbryne and wards, and little short stories and comics about their adventures

But I felt this wasn’t enough. Despite the fact that this might attract attention and some discussion among MPHFPC fans and the like, it personally just didn’t feel interactive enough for the community to enjoy. So, in order to kick start this project, I’m asking for feedback regarding things I could do to not only share the characters I love, but make this loop something we can all contribute to. To my knowledge (correct me if I’m wrong) nothing like this has ever been done before, but I think it has real potential :^)

Here are the ideas I have thought up thus far for ways to make it interactive… 

1. You guys sending in your own MPHFPC OC’s and interacting with the project loop

2. Snazzy headcanons

3. Shitposting

Now, as you can tell, I’m a little bit lack luster for ideas at the moment; so this is where you guys come in! If you have any ideas or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to send them in a message or in my ask box! I’m really passionate about this project, and I hope it can become something we all have fun with ^_^

EXTRA NOTE:If this gets enough interaction, I also hope to start a Discord server in the future, so if things go well that would be another thing to look forward to in the coming weeks :^)
