I remembered that the boiling isles canonically has social media. This is part of my home hunter AU where he runs away to the woods and is just tryna find himself… living in a shitty tent… being angsty… studying wild magic… going on adventures…

It’s pretty canon compliant as of the end of Season 2A but I just came up with it so that might change later. It’s mostly born off the idea of “What if Hunter, as we know him at the end of season 2A, ran away?” This’ll probably become obsolete after the rest of the show comes out but as of right now, Hunter isn’t really close to anyone in the owl house. So what if he runs away and just, lives in the forest?? Studies wild magic up close???
I like the idea that he uses his status as the golden guard to “confiscate” stuff he might need. Idk if Belos would immediately signal to people that Hunters turned traitor or give himself some time to scheme about how to do it but it’s funny so whatever. His mask also gets chipped by Belos as a sign of like, change. He can’t go back after this. He’ll never be the same Golden Boy :’))
This idea was supposed to be bit more light hearted to ease up from the angst I just dropped. Though it’s still angsty, since I like the “Hunter gets a scar over his eye like rascal” idea and being a runaway teen isn’t exactly.. F u n but uhhhhh YEAH I guess that’s all I gotta say about it for now.

anyway first time drawing Baby Hunter (not a baby but.. yknow.. babie) and its for my Home Hunter AU lmao. I just wanted to actually have Belos appear in the AU, even if its in weird artsy angst way.
fixated on the idea that Belos sends Hunter on personal errands with the same level of importance as he does with actually important suff, It’s always the “WILL of the TITAN” and never “Hunter I’m out of booze” fsdfsdf
A few days ago I was having a bit of a Rough Time™ so, here’s me projecting my issues onto hunter via Belos being abusive aahhah. Kinda OOC since I doubt this is the main sort of manipulation/thought process Belos uses but hey it’s MY angst comic.
I was considering a fifth page where Belos sinisterly says “I forgive you” but then I remembered that the emperor is not a merciful man :’’)
