#i get called stupid a lot and it hurts

me: why do i get so particularly upset by being called stupid???

epiphany brain: because even though you know that you forget things, emotionally overreact, and do things in unusual orders because of adhd, you still feel like doing those things makes you ‘stupid’

epiphany brain: and that belief is validated every time somebody calls you stupid
