I love me a good IKEA hack, and this one doesn’t involve any modifications to the actual woodwork (which is good for those of us without tools or the skills!) I particularly love the gold handles from Anthropologie - check out their whole range here (I particularly love the Druzy Quartz knobs!)

Hi! I wanted to share with you the Dremel Work-Box I made! I made this to help keep the Dremel debris and dust from going everywhere when I am sanding polyhedral dice!

I went to Ikea and got a clear bin and lid for about $5. I then sat down at my work area and angled the box to myself. I marked about where my arms would comfortably sit while working.

Then I cut a hole on the front and then the side. This gives me extra room to work.

I took an old long sleeve tee and cut the sleeves off. I then duct taped the sleeves to the outside and fed the sleeves into the box.

I put on rubber gloves and ran the corded Dremel in through the right sleeve. With the gloves on I can now stick my arms into the box.

This lets me work and keep most of the dust and resin debris in the box! I put a damp paper towel on the bottom and an extra damp paper towel inside so I can periodically wipe off the Dremel if it gets dirty.

The closed box and sleeves keeps the crud i side and you can still easily see inside! I keep a small misting spray bottle nearby. When I’m done working and I remove the Dremel, I can spritz the water in the box to help keep dust from kicking up. Then I can easily use the damp paper towel to clean up the resin dust and debris safely!

I still highly recommend wearing a mask abc gloves while working but this box should help you keep the majority of the crud from going everywhere in your workspace!

I hope this helps you with your workspace! A lot of folks on twitter liked this so I wanted to share it with you too! ✨✨

Have a rad day!
